@vkbear Back in the "old days", the maximum level was lower (70 in BC, 80 in WotLK), and epic items were quite rare on those levels... they still are really rare on those levels. But, since Blizzard is adding more levels, they have to make better items drop at those because it would keep getting new gear an exciting event (or at least encouraging, if you are on your fortieth character).

Of course they weren't absolutely rare on level 70 -- I didn't even SAY that, I said they were "quite rare" as a comparison to now -- since it was the max level, that's fucking obvious. What I meant is that it was more exciting to find epics, and that that was indirectly connected to longer levelling. Now, most people get epics very fast by doing a few easy dungeons. Do you understand now?

a raid where horde and ally work together? apart from the fact they are opposite factions, i would spend more time spanking horde then the bosses, and i think there might be some communication problems due to the fact i can say one thing and the horde will just get garbled random letters oh and something to do with not being able to heal other factions might be a problem there somewhere
