You don't know what you're talking about... This upsets me. For a start you have stated the exact opposite of what actually happens...In the centre of the cone you get MORE treble and less bass, and you need to axis a little maybe to adjust the clarity.. If you move to the side of the cone then you GET MORE bass because bass frequencies travel outward.. You have LITERALLY stated the opposite of what actually happens. Please don't try and teach people before understanding yourselves...

I've also heard of producers placing an additional mic behind the cabinet, close to the foot of the cabinet. This captures additional low end and some of the general rumble that's normally absorbed by the ground.

THANK YOU SOOOOO MUCH MAN!!! i'm a guitarist and record my guitar all the time......but i use synthesized guitar effects out of Propellerheads "record" it's just like reason dude but you can record in it! =D and the layout is a little different....and they give u a few more synthesizers.....you should get it man.....the mixers fuckin huge!!! they give you like 473948749587 EQ options in the mixer.....and it's eleventy twelve times better than reason lol.....hope you had fun reading my story! =D
