Not terrible, but very lacking. No original content, the evidence provided is not connected to the audience of video, which I'm assuming which is non-evolutions and creationist. It leaves you with very, "So what" feeling at the end.

This explanation made me think of something... In our evolutionary history we evolved from other organisms way before we reached the stage of our common ancestor with apes. Does that mean that there are other particular markers in our DNA of things in odd places (like the telomeres in the centre of the chromosome in this example)? Or were whole chromosomes lost and changed through mutations?

That means we can follow every gene from point to point in 24% of all the DNA in Humans and Dandelions. It's 100% the same in those 24%. :)

That which is destroyed (which doesn't ALWAYS happen) in natural selection can result in streamlining of the DNA, which would constitute increased genetic information. When you go into information theory, you don't increase the information by increasing the amount of letters - you increase the information by increasing the message.

Bacteria reproducing bacteria is no help to the Theory of Evolution. Bacteria reproduce every 20 minutes, the oldest fossil bacteria are supposedly 500 million years old, bacteria have only ever reproduced bacteria which is no surprise since the book of Genesis says they will reproduce after their kind and that is all that has ever been OBSERVED.

What about mules? You have a horse with 64 chromosomes and a donkey with 62 chromosomes. You mate them, and you end up with a mule that has 63 chromosomes and is infertile. Do these two animals "produce after their kind" too? This shows their genetic material has changed enough for them to be able to breed, but not create fertile hybrids.

I believe the mule and the horse had a common ancestor, a horse. The donkey lost genetic information that it had from its parent which had the genetic information to produce a horse and a donkey. Today we have100s of types of dogs and we know they came from a wolf that had all the info in the first place.

Yes, and all dogs can breed with each other and produce fertile offspring (generally refered to as races), but dogs can't reproduce with foxes (called species), which are in the same family as dogs, so they don't produce "after their kind" anymore... Confirming evolution.

They were used to carry stuff in the past, and now we have cars to do that instead. Even so, those 60 foals in 500 years still constitutes it as infertile, which makes donkeys and horses different species that come from a common ancestor, just as evolution would expect.
I would agree if you define evolution as the loss of function ie. the common ancestor of horses and donkeys had the information to produce BOTH animals but there descendants have LOST the function of interbreeding.

When you talk about information you have to have a clear definition of information. The currently used method to calculate information is the Information Theory that has been used for decades in mathmatics. Bacteria often (not always) have lots and lots of DNA or RNA, but less information than us since most of their DNA is "junk" DNA.

They typically read it because they think the whole EVE thing is going to confirm their religious nonsense. Why is "Scientific Adam" and "Scientific Eve" still Homo Sapiens? Shouldn't they be some of the abovementioned missing links? This is the earliest they can get from our DNA, SCIENTICALLY proven. They stop there. Why do they stop at Homo Sapiens?
That's Basic science, along with the fact that if something spins around itself, and explodes, the parts it exploded into, would spin the same way as it spun before it exploded, unles it collides in somthing, and as there's nothing before the big bang, there's also nothing to colide into. This explanation made me think of something... In our evolutionary history we evolved from other organisms way before we reached the stage of our common ancestor with apes. Does that mean that there are other particular markers in our DNA of things in odd places (like the telomeres in the centre of the chromosome in this example)? Or were whole chromosomes lost and changed through mutations?
I guess though, that is a huge history to go through!

That which is destroyed (which doesn't ALWAYS happen) in natural selection can result in streamlining of the DNA, which would constitute increased genetic information. When you go into information theory, you don't increase the information by increasing the amount of letters - you increase the information by increasing the message.

I believe the mule and the horse had a common ancestor, a horse. The donkey lost genetic information that it had from its parent which had the genetic information to produce a horse and a donkey. Today we have100s of types of dogs and we know they came from a wolf that had all the info in the first place.

If a gull suddenly produces a hamster, then evolution would fall flat on its stomach. If a gull can't produce a gull with another gull, other than the gulls in their immediate vicinity, then it does confirm evolution. And given enough time, you wouldn't have two species of gulls anymore, you would end up with 2 completely different birds.

Yes, and all dogs can breed with each other and produce fertile offspring (generally refered to as races), but dogs can't reproduce with foxes (called species), which are in the same family as dogs, so they don't produce "after their kind" anymore... Confirming evolution.

@ozredneck22 We don't see many mules giving birth to foals now, since we don't have as many mules as we did in the past, and those we do have, we usually keep them away from either donkeys or horses. They were used to carry stuff in the past, and now we have cars to do that instead. Even so, those 60 foals in 500 years still constitutes it as infertile, which makes donkeys and horses different species that come from a common ancestor, just as evolution would expect.

I would agree if you define evolution as the loss of function ie. the common ancestor of horses and donkeys had the information to produce BOTH animals but there descendants have LOST the function of interbreeding.
In the entire history of animal husbandry all that has ever been observed is that animals repoduce after their kind just as you would expect for the book of Genesis to be true.

@ozredneck22 They don't have loss of function, they just have different chromosome numbers. Even if they did, it doesn't mean it's a loss of information. When you talk about information you have to have a clear definition of information. The currently used method to calculate information is the Information Theory that has been used for decades in mathmatics. Bacteria often (not always) have lots and lots of DNA or RNA, but less information than us since most of their DNA is "junk" DNA.

That is to be expected of evolution and of anyone with any shred of common sense. No one is claiming otherwise. You can't discredit evolution by saying the Book of Genesis says what everyone already knows. Bacteria, for example, have point mutations that increase their information and causes antibiotic resistances.

your science gurus still admit the flaw to this can you? If humans and apes are so incredibly similar, then why can’t they mate? Every other closely related species can mate with each other, so why can’t humans. And if you blame it on the fused chromosome, then when the mutation happened there would have been no others to mate with so that lone human with a fused chromosome would have died and humans would have never existed.

Eve's lines of descent 2 each person alive today includes at least one line of descent to each person which is purely matrilineal
As such, we share the same mtDNA as our brothers and sisters, but not our fathers.

They typically read it because they think the whole EVE thing is going to confirm their religious nonsense. It clearly explains mDNA however and shows how we are NOT all descended from one human woman.

That's Basic science, along with the fact that if something spins around itself, and explodes, the parts it exploded into, would spin the same way as it spun before it exploded, unles it collides in somthing, and as there's nothing before the big bang, there's also nothing to colide into. We know that universes spin different directions and also planets, and solar systems. That's contradicting the best theory science still has. It's scientific proof that TBBT isn't correct.

U have 46 chromosomes, or 23 pairs of chromosomes. U get half each from both parents .
The mother’s contribution 2 the chromosomes is: Chromosome 1, 2, 3, 4, to 22 + one X Chromosome
The father contributes the following Chromosome 1, 2, 3, 4, to 22 + one Y Chromosome.
Add them up & u have 46 chromosomes. Apes have 2 chromosomes in place of our Chromosome 2.(known as Chromosome 2a & 2b) We have 2copies of chromosome 2 they have 2 copies of 2a and two copies of 2b – for a total of 4.

He created the universe through his Son Jesus Christ. All things came from Him. God has always been. He is the first and the last, who is, and was, and is to come. Nothing came before him, and nothing will be after him. There is no one above or beside him. He is above all in the universe. That is God. Humans can not be compared to Him.

He is eternal, He exists outside of space and time as we understand it. Our minds can not comprehend God's existence. It is something on one will ever fully understand. It is by faith that we believe what we believe. It is not illogical to believe in God. In fact, it makes sense, it is the only logical explanation for our existence.

@mylampstand God is a very logical conclusion to the creation of the universe. You can call Him imaginary all you want, but He exists, always has, and always will. I can call the wind imaginary too, but it still exists. God is real whether you believe in Him or not. Goes does not have to have a beginning because He is the beginning. He is the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last. He is eternal. You have no argument against Him.

@mylampstand It's funny you call God a magician. A magician can only manipulate sources and energies that already exist, whereas God creates light/energy by His will. By that comparison alone, God is no magician, but God. The universe shows it has a beginning. God created the universe. My belief in God is logical, and that belief is supported by many scientists who believe the "intelligent design" theory, which states the universe was created rather than a sheer coincidence.

@mylampstand I have stated my position time and time again, and as I mentioned before, God is an extremely logical choice for the existence of the universe and all life in it. If you can give me a better argument, bring it on. I will say this: God existed before the universe. I have no idea what He was doing before He created the cosmos, but the point is He existed. If you say God doesn't exist, and the cosmos is a coincidence, I ask you this: What was here before the universe existed?

@mylampstand My "real" God doesn't need to evade anything. So tell me, what is nothing? It's impossible for the human mind to comprehend nothing, and it's illogical to consider the notion. If nothing existed, then how did something come into being? What was the driving force behind it? To say the universe and all matter suddenly appeared from nothing defies all logic and laws of science. Therefore, even from a scientific perspective, the universe could not have come from nothing.

God doesn't need an origin..but what else did religion say .. historically, every explanation regarding nature which invoked the supernatural has been wrong. Without exception & without fail. The "God" explanation has a 100% failure rate. It was wrong with disease, earthquakes, planetary motion, etc.
