Isn't the Japan deluxe version lacking the usb drive and the elaborate box. I also have all the collectors edition for both consoles. I must say the Japanese is the coolest looking with the vaccine, the asian is the best looking box but the worst packaged while the US has the worst box (tacky) but the best stocked one.

Well I'm sure all the Japanese version are all compatible of with the both PS3 and 360. Where ever your buying them from should tell you whether or not if they're region free or not. I bought the Biohazard Deluxe Edition and it works just like the US one would.

the US version sucks SOOO much ass! the chris figure is the same size as the altair figure you get from the Assassins Creed Limited edition. The Tricell bag is the same size as a box for a 360 game, and the necklace is totally gay.

if you have money and you were planning to buy the US collectors edition, DON'T waste your money, save a little more to get the japanese deluxe or the e-capcom version!

Yup it's compatible with us xbox 360's, I have it and been playing it since. I dunno know why yesasia says it's not compatible, maybe it's because most japanese 360 aren't region free, so it assume this will be region locked without actually trying it out to see it it works. But anyway you don't have anything to worry about if you buy it, everything works and everything is in english.

Yeah when I first started the game up, there was a update for it. I don't think I can get banned, I haven't done anything wrong, I bought the game, imported it, and it region free, so Microsoft doesn't have any reason to ban me. Plus I'm always playing online in RE5 with Japanese players.
