Well van halen tone is high gain so your better off with maybe a metal zone or something like it. They have a lot of gain but you should DEFINITELY NOT BUY THE PEDAL WITHOUT TRYING IT OUT!!!!! go to guitar center and play the ds1 if it does not have enough distortion then well you have to keep searching

the difference is that keeley´s pedal sounds way more agressive and distorted, and has a more rounded sound and tone to it, not the like trebbly stock ds-1 (wich is still a nice distortion)
Great video dude, although I can't really hear the difference between the two pedals. I've recently modded my own DS1, and it really sounds a lot better now =D. Also, you got some really nice guitars and great skill dude!
