Hiltonhead, yes, you are politically correct. The focus of this portion of his Jobs Bill is to increase or sustain public service jobs, in the face of massive cut backs by local and state government, many of which are union, and unions support Democrats.
Now, are those jobs essential to educating our nation's children? Yes. Or, do you think a class of 35 students are being taught the skills they will need or warehoused? Are you any safer with fewer police, fire, and EMS on the job? I'm not.
Notice the focus is on preserving jobs for union government employees so that their mandatory contribution to the Democrat Party continues.
When is Obama going to get serious about the job losses in the private sector which continue to dwarf those in the public sector? Or does that group not contribute enough to his campaign?
Of course 43% of Americans are paying no taxes. Many are the wealthy, the others are the poor, children, those disabled by this county's wars, industry, birth defect, illness, age. Perhaps if we did not live in a 19th century economic system, in the 21st century economy, in which Capital once raised millions out of poverty through productive investment, but now does little more than systematically take from the poor to make the rich richer, your argument for economic fairness would resonate, not

If you voted for Obama in 2008 to prove you were not a racist, then vote for anybody else in 2012 to prove you are not an IDIOT !
