In 1969 I spent time at Deep Cover on the Wanganella drilling holes into the tunnel surface that went to West Arm - hard work but good pay and good food and good mates on the ship..

Hello, sorry for the delay but I was locked up on a farm for 3 months - I would have to consult my diaries to see if I noted any of their names...a long time ago ..note spelling of Deep Cove - not with an r at the end, obvious!

Well more like the fact that they wanted to raise the Lake 27feet for no good reason destroying one of New Zealands Greatest scenic areas. this brought in the Kirk Labour Government due to a voter backlash 1972 ?
