Thank you for taking the time to post this! Strum patterns seem to be the step child of youtube how-to's and they don't receive much attention

Someone asked about how the pattern looks over 2 measures... here it is:

1 2 3 + 4 + | + 2 + + 4 +

(Numbers == down strokes, and + == up stroke)

That was a great lesson. My teacher even liked the pattern.

I have one question... is the DDD UDU UDU UDU 1 full measure, or is it 2 measures: DDD UDU being measure 1 and UDU UDU being measure 2?

WOW! This is great. Everybody just explains the song and the chords and you are the first who concentrate on the pattern. Please keep going on with this and do a lot more of videos with strumming ;). It really helped. thanks!
