Imogen manipulated Eli in the beginning, when he went off his meds. Eli then manipulated Imogen into doing what he wantd when he was trying to use said play to get back with Clare.
I'm a fan of this love-triangle, but I'm not a fan of Eligen (or whatever it's called), nor am I still a fan of eclare. Loved them while it lasted, but...
I don't understand why everyone likes Imogen. Eli clearly has changed a lot in season eleven and Imogen is taking advantage of his current craziness by turning him against Clare! And he's not crazy, the pills help him keep his over emotions kept to a minimum. And Imogen is kind and caring. She just doesn't know how to show it. Christine's character is still a kid. Putting ideas like 'don't let the crazy get the best of you, that's what Clare wants' in an unstable mind can really screw with a person, because that is not in any way factual. I think Imogen is really interesting. I'm definitely not warming up to her rn, though.

She wants Eli so she's doing what she needs to get him. And to say Clare wasn't interesting is just a matter of opinion. I relate a lot to Clare, so she was always one of my favorites out of the new Degrassi cast. Imogen's methods are interesting, and she's a smart cookie i'll give her that

And yeah the play isn't true, it's fiction, but it still seems like it will be an interesting and popular play. Of course Imogen wants Eli to be over Clare, she likes him and wants him to move on!

@starrlaverna101 ps Imogen gave him the pills back after she had successfully manipulated Eli into not wanting them anymore. She IS brainwashing him by putting lies into his head about Clare and the pills, so he will be angered by them, and not want them anymore. Eli needs those pills now.
And Eli writing a great play? He is going to write about Clare and how she loved toying with Eli and chose him over a religious psycho! :( That's so not true, and no matter what Clare doesn't deserve that.

@artmusicplz What Imogen did was help raise Eli's confidence enough so that he wouldn't completely break down with the pills. And Eli wanted her to take them in the first place, she wouldn't have done so if he hadn't wanted it. And yeah the play isn't true, it's fiction, but it still seems like it will be an interesting and popular play. Of course Imogen wants Eli to be over Clare, she likes him and wants him to move on!

@starrlaverna101 Yeah that's true. But Eli would have never wanted to quit the pills if Imogen hadn't told him it was stumping his creativity. It may have been true, but Imogen only said that so she could get control of Eli's emotions while he was off of them.
That's why she didn't give Eli the pills back, EVEN when he asked for them.
& that's ok to try and help Eli move on, but she is doing it at the cost of his sanity just so she can have him, and that's selfish to me :(

@artmusicplz I agree that it's unfair to Clare, and that Eli should at least change the names of the characters or something, but he DID get his inspiration back for writing how he truly feels by not taking his pills. That's not really Imogen's fault, because she believes that making him happy can help him.

@starrlaverna101 There's no such thing as "emillisecond" goggle and you'll get a correction it's "millisecond" or "a millisecond" that's probably what he meant if you heard him say it. If you just read about it, it's probably a typo. And like i said before a millisecond is a thousandth of a second. If he said no one knew how long that would be, that doesn't they're going to be a prosperous couple otherwise he wouldn't use the word "millisecond". Plus Jake is nothing. He and Clare are so dull.
