wow, just watched this video after picking up a dead waxwing that flew into the window. heartbreaking, this is my favorite bird, and i had just videotaped him - it's on yogacowgirls channel
I bought Pale Fire after someone asked if my username had anything to do with the book (I'd not heard of the book until then). Have not read it yet, but plan on doing so at some point. Great footage of a cedar waxwing.
all living things die. it's not so sad. maybe there's an afterlife. it'll hopefully be as big a surprise as anything else in life. thanks for watching my video both sober & drunk :)
Sharing the same depressing end with billions doesnt make me feel any better:) Ill hope its worth trying despite the window. Keep creating these kind of cool stuff and mark your existence because you know "forever is our today!".
Very nice video, I'm really looking forward to reading Pale Fire (but first I should get through Lolita, which I've read half of, and has been amazing so far). I think I see what you're going for now after seeing it twice.
Very complicated, very deranged. Absolutely stunning!! Loved the metadiagetic narrative. I just wish there was some raw footage of the bird hitting the window...
thanks, bro. maybe when you visit we can rig up a camera with food behind a window and lure a bird to knock itself out-- if you think it'd improve the video enough to make me a youtube superstar :)
What a great song to go with a great vid! Waxwings are my favorite birdies!

@blacksabbath131 "not-so-famous" when compared to Hurricane Lolita.

Watching the video again- sober and without any distraction this time- I realized that in fact this is such a sad story. Too much reality to face.
