My issue is that these people are using the race issue to distract from other issues.
Now, using the racial issue is ugly enough on its own. But that being said, they're just part of the party of naysayers. They're trying to score points for their own party. Is the racial issue an issue separate from that? Maybe.
Maybe they're truly as racist as that, or they're just desperate enough to try and use the lowest common denominator to do their work for them.
Either way, their strategy's heinous.

The cop was a dick like all cops. He was not racist. He was a cop. They would arrest a baby and old lady if it was disorderly(which has been done before). They arrested my friend for disorderly conduct and said she was a threat. She did not yell or argue at the cop nor was she physical. She was only trying to correct the cop. In fact. she was 4'12 and the cop that arrested her was 6'2. ALL COPS ARE DICKS. CRAWLY WAS A DICK. no way racist.
