I also wanna mention that it took me 10 days to know that I am sick,2 weeks of having the Bacteria developing in my body through weird feelings that I am just not me, losing appetite, you just witness that u are being different then 3 to 4 days of chills-fever ( Most fuked up time) then the real UTI of frequent washroom visits and fever for no reason. In short. It was the most fuked 2 weeks I ever had in my life and thx God I was back on track with my Dr. prescription to Cipro Xl 500mg

My take on that you were so patient on this and u didnt take it to the Doc once u started picking up the Symptoms including chills and fever cause I just had that exactly the way u described it, luckily i was on the phone with one of my brothers and he said U must visit your Doc next day in the morning suspecting Gonorrhea and Thx God 100000 Times. I was treated with three Pills of Cipro Xl Antibiotic and some Cranberry juice and I was all clear.

Whatever happens you have to let someone know, otherwise it can get worse. Until you have antibiotics, drink lots of Cranberry Juice if possible!

Ur body doesn't become resistant 2 antibiotics, the bacteria does. When u stop takin antibiotics 1/2 way throu a dose, a few organisms r left, the strongest 1s, & they can develop resistance. I don't mean 2 b demeaning, but the reason y we r gettin "super bugs" (multi drug resistant bacteria) is cause ppl don't follow the directions when takin their meds. U might not have gotten a kidney infection if u had followed throu w/ the full dose. I'm glad u r alright & I hope ppl learn from ur mistake.

I had a kidney infection last year 2 days b4 christmas. I was lucky i went 2 the doctors in time coz if i had left it a few more days then it could have went into my blood. I hope u will heal from ur uti's i have 1 rite now but i got pills from the doctor. It's not as bad as the 1 i had last time. :)

Apparently UTI is common in women... try baking soda one teaspoon in a glass of water.. it alchalises the pee and helps to rid the infection... but this is only if you can't get to a doctor... eg: if it is sunday and they are closed... you need a doctor BADDDD if you have a uti

You can better fight the infection when your urine is more acidic than alkalic, love! Thats why doctors recommend drinking cranberry juice, personally i eat 2 cranberry tablets a day and it works pretty good so far

That sounds bad. I had a bad UTI once. I didnt get the fever or the chills, I just noticed that my pee was pink with blood and slight cramping. I started getting bad cramps and the next day my pee looked like cherry coke. I went to the hospital and they about choked when they saw my urine sample!! So now I go to the doctor if I get any weird feelings.

Wow, sounds painful. If you've got recurring infections all the time, maybe you should be taking something to prevent them (besides figuring out why they recur). I recommend TheraCran, it's got 2.5 times the active ingredient of CranActin, and you only take 1/2 the number of pills. Plus if you don't like Cranberry juice, it's good stuff.

Well you can get it as a Sexually Transmitted Infection, you can get it from not using the bathroom after sex. In the early stages, the UTIs don't hurt much(at least mine didn't), it's just a little sting when you use the bathroom, but I'm sure it gets much much worse later on. Thankfully I've always gotten mine taken care of quickly. :)
