I think the second one is a real good idea if You want a lot of flawor without any extra fat and calories from souces or meat... Not Your typical taste, but sure looks worth trying. ^^

i cant imagine the 2nd being very nice tasting.. i mean, spagetti, cooked in red wine, with a bit of salt and pepper, and a sprinkling of cheese???? Sounds revolting!

A good wine would give it a very strong taste. If you like drinking wine, it would be good. Even if you don't like wine, it still gives it a nice flavor :P

Of course, if you are one of those people that likes the standard "tomato and meatball" kind of spaghetti, then you might not like it.
