Yeah, of course they should. Just change the original Naruto Ultimate Ninja games to be exactly like UNS is, just with better characters, a possibly worse story mode, and other stuff. Hey, why not put it only on PS3, too, and make half of the world hate you, as well. That'd be swell.

Oo, the 3D graphics thing wasn't the worst part about the game, to me. For me, it was probably the fact there was so much to be expected from this game and they gave us this. An RPG in which you can only explore the Hidden Leaf Village, they left out some pretty important characters such as Sakon, Jirobo, Tayuya, and Kidomaru. I mean wtf were they(c)

(c)even thinking?! The Sound Four made the main chunk of action... made up more than half of the fights that even went down in the Sasuke Retrieval Arc... and they aren't even playable characters. BUT, even worse, it's not like they even forgot about the Sound Four either. They just decided that they weren't important enough, since they managed to put in Kimimaro. But besides the Sound Four, they should've included more of the Jonin+ characters, like Asuma, Kurenei, and heck, even Anko(c)

(C)and the four deceased Kage, maybe even. I mean, all they did in UNS was give it a better VS mode. That's the ONLY thing it has over the other Ultimate Ninja games. That and the way they brought Support Characters back. I mean, that was a hella awesome part to include in the fights. It makes them much more interesting, but that's lumped in with the combat system/VS mode. Now, if UNS's Combat System and graphics were put together with Naruto The Broken Bond's story mode, it'd be a sick game.(d)

It isn't the best Naruto game out there. The best, in my opinion, is Naruto: The Broken Bond, for its story mode and more than decent graphics.

Broken Bond's characters don't look horrible... they just look bad really close up. Like what they did with OTK Naruto. That was just a pitiful character design, and it was really the only messed up one there.

And UNS's combat system was good for the Ultimate Ninja series, but it wouldn't work with Broken Bond.

Also, UNS has graphics and that's about it. The Story Mode sucked, and the fighting system just wasn't as interesting as it could've been. A great combat system doesn't make a good game.

Well.. a great combat system CAN make a good game. I had a lot of fun with UNS. Seriously, I couldn't stop playing for months. I would STILL be playing it if my friend wasn't borrowing it. xD That game is so awesome. But you're right, the story for UNS sucked balls. Like.. big hairy ones. I was SO disappointed when I played it. =[ I mean, they didn't even have voice-overs when you were speaking to people. Bonds did have a great story mode, I'll give it that.

I'm late to this little conversation, but I have a few things to say, I guess. One: of course the story mode sucked for UNS, and of course they had little characters. Did you forget that they started that engine from scratch? As you said, it was a high anticipated game, so they kind of had to hurry and release it--sort of like a test game. Sort of like Rise of a Ninja for 360. It had a small story, the graphics were horrible and in the story they had pieces of the Anime instead of just (c)

redoing them with the graphics like they did the Ultimate Ninja games. Which is, in my opinion, lazy. Ultimate Ninja STORM was a test of wandering around, the fighting system and graphics. Sort of like Ultimate Ninja 3. They had a sandbox wonder around of the village, which was rather small but it was to test out how people liked it. When they couldn't do it right, they decided to make it different; there comes Accel. Or well, it's what I think anyway. Either way, if they make STORM 2 then (c)

I think if they made STORM 2, it would be even better than Accel 2. Can't say Accel 3, since it has so many Shippuuden characters, including a story mode for Sasuke. XD Can't wait for that. TS Sasuke is all Chidori now! when he attacks using on e of his ougis, he Chidori's into the attack, one of his combos is a Chidori, and his Chidori Jutsu makes him use the same chidori to hit the opponent like 6-9 times!!
