I think many black people don't understand white folks because we are different and not to talk about the differences because of US political correctness it makes it harder to find out we are the same. Hello TMOT, what I'm about ask is so off topic but what do you think about those who stood in line all night for some shoes (Jordans) and one person got stabbed to death in the process. I was having a debate with some on Twitter about it who don't think it's ignorant to not have paid their light bill but out there buying $200 pairs of shoes and on welfare.

@tmotofga The only reason I think the term "African American" is useful is that it shows heritage to an extent, but due to very upsetting circumstances many Africans brought over here have no way to know which country their ancestors came from because they were shipped over against their will and terrible things were done to limit that information's ability to be passed down. I've always felt that the Civil Rights act, in a way, made racism ok. If a store, which formally only would serve white people, was forced to serve all people, that wouldn't change the racist owner of the store, it just ends up supporting him/her with more business. What a wonderful and intelligent message! It's wonderful to see someone think this way. So many African Americans are out there grouping up and considering themselves a separate entity that should support or be against a certain thing... and I say there is no need for it. A person is a person is a person. We all deserve the same rights.

@tmotofga The only reason I think the term "African American" is useful is that it shows heritage to an extent, but due to very upsetting circumstances many Africans brought over here have no way to know which country their ancestors came from because they were shipped over against their will and terrible things were done to limit that information's ability to be passed down. This past may or may not effect each individual person depending their particular family's circumstance.

I actually talked to a woman who told me that because I thought everyone should be treated equally and there should be no womans rights, gay rights, black rights etc that I was racist. I tried to tell her everyone should be treated equally by all accounts in all parts of our society. There should not be a hate crime, murder is murder no matter whom or why.. a life is a life. Anyways, great video and keep fighting the fight.

This is exactly why I don't believe any of the "racist newsletter" attacks. Ron Paul has ALWAYS been about the individual - about individual liberty - and not marginalizing people by seeing them as just a group. Grouping people together IS racism & if you want to see how that plays out in gov policy, look at who gets targeted in the War on Drugs.

If it is, that was because the act took away the right of the private business man to allow whomever they want in their business. I am a person of color, an active registered republican and I did NOT vote for Obama. As I said, I find him to be a racist with his head in the clouds and NOT for the people. FYI all the hate spewing Ron Paul supporters had quite a bit to do with my change of heart re: Ron Paul.

There are bound to be a number of rude people in any large group. Some of these RP folks may not intend to be rude, but they “get it” and have no patience with those who don't, even though a few months earlier they themselves didn't “get it.”
There is also the possibility that some of the rudeness comes from people who are only pose as RP supporters and use rudeness to drive others away. There is not much way to know that anyone is what they claim they are in these comments.

I've always felt that the Civil Rights act, in a way, made racism ok. If a store, which formally only would serve white people, was forced to serve all people, that wouldn't change the racist owner of the store, it just ends up supporting him/her with more business. I'd bet there are stores and shops filled with racists who would only serve a certain type of customer and I bet you now-a-days more people would openly condemn such a place and only support people who practice equality in their work
