john deff. gave them more musical dynamic. but thomas is a better drummer and their music reflects that. their shows are more like a 3 hour explosion now.

Yeah, Jon's better then Pridgen, but at least they don't have Fleming. Jon had a powerful presence. Pridgen just seems to have technical skill, but no heart/soul.

Flemming's a great drummer from a style not completely compatible with TMV's ... he didn't have much time during his stint to really have things as tight as he could have. I would have rather seen Deatoni Parks play with them, but too bad he's taken.

Im with you.Alot dont realise what a loss he is just yet, but they will.The man new when to hit hard and when to chill.I saw pidgen live and the guy had no idea how to improvise and when he did it was repetitive.
