It's a nice piece of technology. But in terms of functionality, I'd say it's just a total waste of time. You'd need a whole different bunch of pucks to do different shit everytime. Why not just make one puck with multiple configurations in it. =/

Aside from the colour changing (which could also be taken care of via Gesture Commands), why not just make the table multi-touch? You don't have to use those pucks all the time, and it would also be much more precise.

microsoft surface is A LOT better! it can be used to order food in restaurants, pay, split bills by dragging meal items to credit cards placed on table and its a wireless usb, gates placed a camera on it and the pictures just spilled out of it! This is a knock off.

Microsoft was only showing off software concepts in their demo videos.

With a device capable of these things, writing such applcications is easy as pie.
