  • I don't know if it's true. But my Uncle knew Chris personally. Overall he was a great man. Owned a ranch in Wyoming, my home state :) God bless Chris Ledoux , country music, wild spirits, and the land they live on!

  • Today, I had to choose between riding bulls or broncs. I decided to ride the broncs in memory of Chris. RIP

  • Yepp! Those rank 1's!

  • Chris Ledoux... To me, an immigrant to this country, Chris Ledoux epitomized the American spirit.

Rugged, Beautiful, modest, good-hearted, bigger than life, kind, adventurous, polymorphic, courageous and gracious.

I still mourn him all these years after his passing. I think America lost a little bit of soul with Chris' passing, but thankfully his music remains to remind us to walk a little bit straighter, to smile a little bit brighter, and to try a little bit harder.

    Thank you, Chris Ledoux

  • great vid great song i listen to it all the time they play it at rodeo i play it in the truck shark needs to see this and then they will understand rodeo

  • No words can be typed in this box that would even come close to doing justice to Chris LeDoux, but I will say thanks for influencing my life with such a powerful force.

  • what a cowboy! our JOHN WAYNE!!!!!

  • Thank you a lot for posting this video. This is what Chris was all about. #1 in my book

  • RIP

  • Brooks, Dune,Strait, garth or whatever, fuck them, They should pay their Utmost respect to a true cowboy. RIP Good Ride cowboy.

  • @hushke you are a damn fool Garth and Chris were the best of friends and Garth did pay great respect to Chris

  • @coffindragon

If a man is going to give a part of his liver to save a great man like Chris....well I have to have respect for Garth. I don't like his singing, but I have to like his loyalty to a friend!!!!

  • Chris Ledoux will may have passed away but he will never be tamed nor forgotten!!!!!!

  • Hell of cowboy, Hell of a rider, hell of a singer, hell of a man.

  • I love the ranch life. Riding horses and working cattle

  • RIP Chris you'll be missed

  • 2 years after I quit the ranch I got another fever again, I quit my job, sold everything that wouldn't fit in a 10x10 storage unit, bought a new dodge Cummings, goose neck horse trailer, loaded up my 2 horses and hit the road for 6 months. when it got to hot in AZ&NM I went to ID&MT. In MT I got a job with a outfitter and lived in the Bob Marshall wilderness for 3 months and I learned about Mules and packing. The only thing that stays the same is change !!!

  • I always wanted to be a Cowboy. I bought my first horse from a ranch in NV. He was a bronc. The young cowboy who sold him to me said " You better keep him here so I can show you how to put the saddle on. I said good. That horse buck me off every time I got on his back. Within 3 months of never giving up or not knowing better I learned to ride saddle bronc! Make a long story short I ended up going to work for the ranch making a living on horse back for three years. The best of my life at age 40.

  • I love this song for two reasons:

    1-Chris Ledoux

    2-Rodeo

    FOREVER AND ALWAYS CHRIS!!

  • Sound slike quite the man...how did he die Ya'll??

  • He got a liver transplant in 2000. But in '05 he died from liver cancer complications.

  • Bile duct cancer. get it right

  • he died of a liver cancer

  • He's my favorite country stare and let him rest in peace. He rode bareback broncs and played country music, the he died, way too young, of liver cancer. I hope he had a good life, and rests in peace!

  • missing you today & forever

  • I was lucky enough to meet this gentleman a few years ago when I booked his concert for the club I worked for. I was never a great fan until I met him. He was absolutely the nicest country star I ever met and it was an honor to meet him. One of the band members was a little obnoxious and Chris put him in his place real quick and made him apologize. I've been a fan ever since. I got my picture made with him, which he autographed, and it's kept hanging on my wall. What a gentle-man!

  • wow i never knew he re recorded this song, i like it just as much as the original 1970's release

  • Let's all remember Chris on March 9th by calling our radio staions requesting his music. Let radio know that we will NEVER forget this great man.

Please pass this on to all country music fans.

    Thank you

    Donna Petersen
