  • Anyone else miss the raw manliness of the eighties. you know before everyone got all "sensitive".

  • There were many great cartoons in the 80s and 90s that I doubt many people remember now. Like Galtar and the Golden Lance, Dinosaucers, Dino Riders, Defenders of the Earth, Bots Master, etc.

  • Thankfully, it's an immutable law that all pilots in Sunbow cartoons wear parachutes that allow them to escape exploding vehicles...

  • IF ANY TOY/CARTOON DESERVING OF A LIVE ACTION FILM IT IS THE INHUMANOIDS.

  • Doesn't the animation look pretty good for a cartoon that was released back in 1986?

  • @MDthornton83 most Sunbow stuff looks really really good for the time and has aged well

  • @Conner3030 I agree; it "has" aged well.

  • 3:59 Shouldn't a paleontologist instead of an archaeologist be digging up dino bones? :?

  • Something tells me the creators of this show read alot of H.P. Lovecraft and watched alotta Kaiju flicks! XD

  • Man the singing monster voice of the intro scares me at the end of the song. And I just watched this show today.

  • wow that did not take long to get to the point

  • Man i recognize some of the voice actors from other shows, gi joe and transformers.

  • @zarth4 Yep. Chris Latta is one of them.

  • Their were more great cartoons in the 80's and 90's. They got away with so much back then.

  • Most heavy metal show of that time.

  • BAD ASS!

  • LA MEJOR SERIE DE CULTO DE HASBRO!!

  • Ah, the good old days. Back when cartoons were cool.

  • this is awesome!

  • this like devil-man

  • remember..when trees growl from something you took, LEAVE IT BEHIND!!!

  • Frickin Flint Dille. Awesome.

  • Also, it sure doesn't waste any time getting started, does it?

  • For an 80s American cartoon...this had some pretty decent animation.

  • Wait a sec -- did those helicopter pilots escape because they had ejection seats?

  • This show was and still is amazing. :P

  • On this show, Cops have LASERS!

  • Damn I used to love this show!

  • When i go to NYCC this year, I'm gonna see if they're selling "Inhumanoids" on a DVD bootleg.

  • @ectogambit No my 80's Childhood did lol Great Show!!

  • this and robotix were the only two things i watched as a child

  • Wow! Haven't seen this since it aired over 20 years ago. Awesome. I loved this short lived series back then, even had the big D'Compose toy.

    Big thanks for uploading this!

  • Now you know where Dead Space got it's inspiration.

  • Yep, police always have lazer guns.

  • @gdog662 this is the star wars era, everyone had laser beams in every kids story

  • how did Cracked miss this creepy ass thing. I remember the toys were out for almost no time at all because it was so dark.

  • Better than anything Micheal Bay can crap out.

  • Better flick that leaf off your shoulder before checking on the girl!

  • Thanks a lot for putting this up. I can't believe that I never saw this before James Rolfe's review. I like that a lot of the voices and sound effects are the same as GI Joe.

  • Oh so THIS is where crichton (sp?) got the idea for sap covered fossilized creatures =p

  • this show was a mind blower shit! james got a refined taste for 80`s and 90`s cartoons

  • How did I never hear of this show until James Rolfe reviewed it? Seriously. I grew up in the late 80's/early 90's, I loved Horror movies, and had a shit load of toys. HOW DID I MISS THIS?

  • @lilyphilia84 fuck you cock sucker

  • @PENGUIN0yCHANG0

    Im scared :(

  • It always amazed me how helicopter pilots could parachute out at the last second. They did the same thing in "G.I. Joe" and "Transformers."

Also, why are the cops using lasers. Did they think using bullets on giant monsters was going to corrupt kids into being gangbangers?

  • Decompose: Release me Tendrill!!

Tendrill: Sure thing Starscream...err I mean mean Cobra Commander...uh I mean Decompose.

  • did james rolfe at cinemassacre lead u here ;)

  • @ectogambit

    ... Yes.

  • @ectogambit

    Yes he did =)

  • @ectogambit go die in a fucking fire

  • @ectogambit

    yeah,of course:)

  • @ectogambit he has so much power over us. haha

  • @ectogambit

Funny you say that! My answer is: YES!! lol

  • @ectogambit u bet

  • @ectogambit YES

  • @ectogambit oui

  • This cartoon disturbed me when I was a kid....

  • It looks like laser guns what the cops were using.

  • Man, what 80's cartoon didn't Flint Dille write?

  • @frankieh

Dude wrote Dragonstrike, too, I just learned. X D

  • Creepy cartoon for its time.

  • @DaVeO52 This cartoon gave me nightmares as a kid.

  • The Earth Corps reminds me of Ghostbusters than Saber Rider because of their number

  • At 3:00. What's that? Jim Raynor : ZERG!!!

  • I have searched for this cartoon for so long and couldnt find any information......guess since I was searching in "humanoids" nothing showed up.

  • Loved these cartoons as a kid. Wouldn't miss one episode.

  • It was a good cartoon. It's also one of the few named for the villains.

  • "It's trashing the bridge & I bet it's not paying the toll!" LOL! Good times

  • "Cthulhu For Kids".

  • @MARDLtransmit Yup, I think I failed alotta sanity rolls watching this when I was younger. XP

  • man master chief aint got shit on these dudes.. DECOMPOSE!! DEEECOOOMPOSE!!!

  • LOL Inhumanoids 1980s Tranformers 1980s G.i.JOes all outsourced animation to Japan. Funny the American Street Figheter cartoon was partially drawn by Sunrise and Madhouse both japanese anime studios.

  • @Uberaoshi What is wrong with that? The Japanese are better at overseas animation than the Koreans.

  • D'compose sound like starscream with a cold

  • @gamermik76

Probably because it's the same voice actor. : )

  • @Eldeecue cool

  • @Eldeecue that my friends is the voice of the late great starscream himself

    chris latta

  • @simmervet it was skycommanders

  • none of the characters even freak out when they see the monsters

    "so...the ancient documents were right"

    "it's coming from that.....thing"

  • 1:42 "Barbara Walker"? A play on Barbara Walters?

  • I always was scared watching this... it felt like watching an animated horrormovie.

  • Super-soldiers fighting monsters. We had that cocept like a thousand times. It was really a trend back then. ^^°

What I find remarkably about Inhumanoids is the anime-esque drawing style. Pretty unusual for such a "typically American" show.

  • This show used to scare the shit out of me! But I liked it !!!! LOL. I used to pretend to be Liquidator. My parents were religious and hated this show.

  • ah hasbro/sunbow projects so recognisable in style, music, voice actors... i keep expecting the transformers to come running in to fight the inhumanoids. LOL.

  • Fucking kudos for uploading this! Man this takes me back.....and the 5 assholes who gave this a "thumbs down"...go watch the current shit they show on tv now.

  • hecking ayes this is scary monster for kids but we loved them

  • ooooooooooooooooh i likes

  • I guess that you're a fan of Big O?

  • Tendril rocks!

  • hahaha, a giant amber monolith, I wonder the size of the tree were it came from.

  • Prohibida en casi todos los paises por considerarla satanica jaja, lastima dejarond e producirla

  • this was probabaly the scariest toon of the 1980s. thanks Flint Dille!

  • need a release in the states.. again :/

  • awsome this gott bannde in sweden

  • Derrick Bright: scientist, engineer, cockblocker.

  • "It's coming from that thing!"

    Are you sure? lol

  • More than 10 years trying to watch this cartoon again. Very thanks!

  • I hope Shout Factory has Inhumanoids, Visionaries, Jem, and My Little Pony out on DVD. This time I hope episodes 10-12 make out on DVD instead of the first 9 again like what Hi-Top and Rhino did.

  • yeah all the 80s cartoons and some of the 90s should be released in boxsets containg the complete series and not just a couple of eps. i love the older cartoons. most of the stuff now doesnt have the appeal those 80s and early 90s cartoon had

  • In the UK we got all the Visionaries and Inhumanoids episodes on DVD (Both sets are more or less out of print), but yeah here's hoping that Shout Factory can distribute these sets too. The sets they released so far look superb!

  • I love how they brought their gear and APC with them, like they take it everywhere.

  • I remember seeing the toys in the store thinking they looked so cool..

  • i considered that cartoon evil

  • OMG at last i found this cartoon....THank You so much for uploading...huhuhuhuhu..

  • Loved the Redlins and Granocks. :)

  • pretty lovecraftian for a childrens cartoon

    Saludos!!!

  • love this cartoon now this is the good stuff

  • "Are you nuts?!?"

    "No...EARTHCORE!"

  • I always wanted tha monster action figures but I ended up gettin tha damn good guys for Christmas..this show was good but it didnt last long if memory serves me correct

  • 13 episodes or so.

  • Queer

  • Lots of sounds and voice are from the G.I.Joes TV show :P

  • It was produced by the same studio that produced the GIJoe and Transformers series.

  • i loved this cartoon, had all the episodes on vhs off the TV

  • I'm positively sure that the backup singer dude is a metalhead..

  • Fantástico, me hizo viajar en el tiempo!!!

  • The green one is a cthulhu son or at least looks like

  • subconsciousness rulez

  • This cartoon got some flack back then, because of the "demonic" lookin' creatures that it had. But, smart kids with watchful and sane parents, KNEW that this was just a CARTOON!!

  • you think thats bad? the lizard thing spoke with 3 voices at once, thats legion for all you bible thumpers.

  • decompose was the coolest

  • I liked Metlar, but D-compose was cool too! Man, this was another great 80's cartoon man! This one was rther underrated I thought tho'!

  • I use to enjoy watching this show when I was young on Sunday's. Thanks for posting!

  • I love how everybody stopped mid- clap when Decompose made that noise!

  • I like how the 2 guys were able to EJECT WITH THEIR PARACHUTES before the chopper exploded...

  • you know, it's a kids show, no killing

  • Yes, it was a kids show, but...it's kind of hard to parachute from a helicopter.

  • I loved this cartoon. I always enjoyed watching it and it was one of the most violent ones too. Great for a kid growing up..lol

  • Yeah, right, lol....I remember this one, it scared the hell out of me, and I watched it anyway!! Cartoons back then were the awesomeness!

  • this bring back memorise^^ i used too love this i remember having the movie taped off tv of it (or the first 5 eps not sure) it was one of the best things i had seen as a kid^^ im gonna have too try egt this on dvd now if i can just remember the robot one i use too like im sure it was called robitics or something like that. im happy i found you put this on here and it is good too see it again

  • robotech is the name you're thinking of.

  • OOOOOMMMMMGGGG! I SOOOO USED TO WATCH THIS EVERY WEEKEND MORNING. WOW! I was trying to tell my friends that were old enough if they remembe this cartoon. I just couldn't remember the move. I used to have the green monster and I believe if you pressed a button, his orange tenticles on his face would light up. I believe I used to have the leader and the vehicle he road on. Yeah I gave em to my lil cousins and their dad probably sold them........

  • so cloverfield is a rip off of this?

  • 5:09 to like 5:12 or what ever best joke best

  • pena que esta em ingles

  • did any 1 think this was messed up

  • lol i used to go camping at big sur, sadly i never saw any inhumanoids =( ps~ i love how all the women sound like guys who inhaled helium

  • eeeendlich gefunden ! :D

  • I used to watch this every Sunday.

  • where did the cops get laser guns? when did enviormental workers carry weapons?

  • None of the Hasbro/Sunbow cartoons fired bullets. Same reason no one died in GI Joe.

  • que legal, esse desenho faz parte da minha infancia, eu adorava assistir, muito legal estar vendo novamente, obrigado

  • "What do you think she's doing after the show?"

Eww!! That dude's got a hard on for Monica Lewinski?

  • I remember this one. I watch this when I was 7 years old. I was scared of this at the time. especially when the monster (forgot the name) would turn humans into monsters just by touching them or something

  • THANKS!!!!

this cartoon was one of the best i watched when i was small and I still rmb this even after so long...it is still among the best now

  • Wow! I can't believe it. I remember this cartoon. It's amazing to see this show on Youtube. Cartoons today suck.

  • Damn right, you see what Glen Murekami did to the Transformers?

  • @vhamp Yeah. He and the idiots over at Cartoon Network fucked it all up. There is only one country that can do Transformers cartoons CORRECTLY and that is the Japanese.

  • I agree, the cartoons these kids look at have no soul or imagination.

  • @serkit2006 I agree. Cartoons these days suck.

  • @JH335163

For saying, "cartoons today suck", you instantly get +27 thumbs up!

For saying that your mum is fat, you get -5 thumbs down, and a year's subscription to Netflix!

  • no, this cartoon was on regular tv and it rocked.

  • I think she said Barbara Walker.

  • i thought i heard the reporter say she was... Barbara Walters! eeek

  • WOW... I used to watch this as a kid too! This used to be one of my favorites, makes me want to look up Centurions!

  • Wow, this is messed up. I watched a lot of tv as a kid and I don't remember this one at all. Was this cartoon only on cable?

  • this cartoon aired for only 13 episodes on cbs

  • D'Compose scared the fuck out of me when I was a kid! Where's the episode with Hector Ramirez? He was like in every Sunbow cartoon!

  • I always thought D'Compose was the coolest. The guy that does his voice apparently is the same guy who does Cobra Commanders voice.

  • Is this the same cartoon that had that dinosaur that turned people into skeletons and there was this pair of monsters, something about polarity....freakest cartoon I ever saw..

  • Ah, yes. Another show I watched frequently as a child, and another set of toys my mother sold at a garage sale for $.25 a piece (a buck for my Tendril). Well, I've still got a headless Metlar, and an armless, one ribbed D'Compose. D'Compose's previously squishy chest is all hard and cracked. In fairness I did destroy my Redwood and Magnokor when I figured out what fire was. I had all ten figures. They netted $2.25 in 1990.

  • tight, the cops have lazers!
