Jamie's playing a Collings Rice model here...he played it the last few years with Doyle and up until recently as he just inked a deal with Burgeois in the last year or so.

MY FAVORITE BLUEGRASS GOSPEL GROUP. JAMIE DAILY, I CALLED HIM MY LITTLE BLONDE but the last time I saw them. I told him he was growing up on Me. He had gotten married also when he told me his age. I couldn't hardly believe it. I have seen them several times down at The Meramec Music,Theatre in Steelville, Mo.

I sure hated to see him leave Doyle but I also like him and Vincent.

I've had the privledge of seeing Doyle and Quicksilver 2 times and they have been great each time. I only wish they had a bigger touring area so I could see them again. The only bluegrass band I have seen that has held a candle was Jim and Jesse back in the day and that was just for the insturmental jamming. Doyle and his bands have a corner on vocal harmonies.

Actually Darrin Vincent is not a member of DL&Q. He is good friends with Jamie Dailey & they now have their own band - Dailey & Vincent.

Doyle Lawson always keeps his band tight, and never over done. I think a big problem with a lot of new BG bands is thats there is so much talent, they try to all play at the same time. The melody and the emotion of the song gets lost in the over pickin. You wont ever hear Doyle Lawson and the old guys ever do that.
