  • This song's very cool!

  • Boston is not the same without Brd, but the lyrics in this song are awesome.

  • This song isn't the Boston that I was used to. This is not necessarily a bad thing. The sound itself could be great. The BAD thing is that the producer did a second-rate job. The lyrics aren't clear, the instruments conflict instead of blending and you can tell that Boston's signature guitar is there, but it doesn't get any of those rifts that made the band famous. The sound is that of a band in transition. Where it will end will show how good that band can be.

  • "Who can survive this man made fate"-From song I'm serious WHO CAN SURVIVE THIS?!

  • sounds like somthin they recorded during the 80s this a good song

  • @Vidiogamereviews 2002 actually :P

  • @PocaWolfenstein7 ya i know i sed it sounds like somthing they recorded from the 80s i dident say they did

  • even when they dont sound great compared to previous albums.... THEY FUCKING ROCK

  • If Brad would have lived Boston would have a second coming that would put these new bands back in their places. This is'nt your childhood Boston!

We all have to grow up and maybe this was a kinda in-between album.

That was going to lead to their second coming. It such a sad shame that the world lost such a magnificient singer, that voice will never be able to be replaced. Rest in Peace Brad, you did great , really GREAT!

  • would have been a MUCH better song/album without the programmed dated "80's ZZtop drum machine techno beat. PLEASE don't ever do that again Tom. There are sections where the drums are even out of synch and playing stuff that no live drumer would ever conceive. It just sounds wrong! Certainly Artemis was looking for a better product at the time. #1, 2, and 3rd stage were masterpieces...this was like a charicature of the band I loved (and still do, only not anything about this album)

  • I really like this album, it isn't like Boston, Don't Look Back or Third Stage, but I like it! Great job!

  • there is a major difference in techno and boston's music their music still sounds the same

  • ....this doesnt even sound like boston it sounds techno :/

  • i love this sound that so similar to Higher Power! that clasic boston guitar with that darker feel. and awesome where the higher power riff is at the end. Boston will always be my favorite band.

  • i like this song, but i do not care for the vocals. I'd prefer ti to be all Brad Delp harmonies like the old days

  • Long Live the Boston Nation

  • PVC causes brain cancer?

  • Oh my god no no no, what are you doing!? That isn't Boston, my goodness, somebody please rename it...

This song, And truly, this album shames Boston, along with all it's fans.

  • @stheman312

they've grown up, seen what's being done to the planet, write a song to protest it, and you have the nerve to say that somehow "shames" Boston fans?

    get over yourself

  • RIP-Brad Delp-June 12, 1951-March 9, 2007. May the Lord be with him.

    A Lonely Soul.

  • i love the beat of this song and the way they sing.

  • @RobSingsLikeaBoss Zeig heil. You identify with these rock stars and you think you are somethihg. You are a nobody. "Like a Boss" - More like "Actually a certified Dickhead".

  • @RayL1983 You're the worst troll I've seen in a while.

  • Not their best but a good effort (good song) still like it BOSTON is an awesome band.

  • I CAN SEE WHY THIS ALBUM GOT CANNED AT THE TIME. IT IS DREADFUL. MY GOD, IT IS SO DEPRESSING. IT SOUNDS LIKE THE SINGER IS SUFFERING CLINICAL DEPRESSION. I FIND IT A LITTLE FRIGHTENING ACTUALLY.

  • @RayL1983 He was suffering from clinical depression. He killed himself. Dick.

  • @RobSingsLikeaBoss and who wouldn't be depressed about the worldwide corporate takeover and subsequent trashing of the globe?

  • The line that says "Globalize; cigarettes, business jets, you love it

Maximize; but you can take your bottom line and shove it" attacks the powerful globalists that frequent places like Bohemian Grove and the Bilderberg meetings. Some (not all) of these powermongers are ruthless. They don't like it when mainstream respected people speak out against them and they have a reputation of punishing those that do. Is there a remote possibility that Brad Delp's suicide was actually a murder?

  • @MrFreespeech01 of course, he was such a threat, had a #1 single 30 years ago

  • Who's singing on this album?

  • @Roggiedodgie many different people when it should have been all brad

  • too true..

  • THHIS IS BOSTONS GREATEST SONG IN MY OPINION

  • This song would have been great on their first album... Well, the album art went along with it anyway. :p

I used to really dislike this song, but it's grown on me so much. I don't know if it's been my more recent involvement in politics, or what... But I wholeheartedly agree with this song completely.

  • I love Boston and I love this album but they changed their sound so much

  • You know its not their best album. My fav song fromit is Star out your windwo.

  • This is a good song with a message, but Boston were excellent in the 70', and I believe their former sound will never return...the 90' ruined them as much as all the other bands...damn...

  • Boston's got a gift for getting your attention. I love em. They certainly do have a point.

  • who can survive this man-made fate?

  • corporate america? i could not agree more, sweet song, excellent guitars

  • well to me this is a good song that perhaps will not remain as a standard but more than listenable , one should kill what we have adored

  • @rodana12 I agree.but a shadow is there!

  • Yes it is, but Walk on album and Corporate America have great songs!

  • Hell yeah !! Styx is back ....Oh my fucking god this is so bad.

  • Which bad?

  • Ya? i think that this is what happens when most of the original members die, what would you expect? lol

  • I think that's Tom doing the spoken word thing in the bridge.

  • You're right. There's a video of them recording this song somewhere on YouTube. I think you can find it by searching 'Corporate America Promo'. Awesome song.

  • yes is is!

  • bostons most famous music is deffinitly from their first 2 albums but there are a few songs from thrid stage, corprate america and walk on that i do love. i had a good time, higher power, surrender to me, their all great songs.

  • Walk on doesn't even have their original singer.

  • So, doesnt mean they cant sound good.

  • I agree wit you!

  • So!

  • yea ik, im saying their most popular music came from their first 2 albums. what you said has no relevance to what i said

  • They dont have any original singers

  • hell yeah!

  • There is no such thing as global warming!! Just thirty years ago scientists were worried about a coming global freezing! WTF!!

  • finally some one else who relizes that

  • you do know that teh tempature of the earth has increased 1 degree average in the last 10 years -__- If you dont think thats alot, .5 degrees above freezing will melt an icecream cone. Now I don't believe in global warming. I do believe that the sun might be getting hotter though. They never took that into consideration they just assume its global warming

  • The Co2 levels and the temperate go up at the same rate. 98% of the world's scientists aren't dumber than you.

  • Ok, then explain to me how you know that the sun isn't getting hotter. HAve you been there? No so stfu.

  • The sun is gradually getting colder.

In about 6.5 billion years it will stop emitting photons.

You dont have to be there to know simple astrophysics :3

  • yes this is what I remember! an then it will turn into a bloack hole?

  • no.

  • Dude I have no fuckin idea I was trying to be sarcastic.

  • @booradleyF5 lmfao I take it this douche doesn't know that as stars get older, they get colder, then at the white dwarf stage, they get hottest and supernova? lol

  • Hey asshole, global warming or "climate change" as it should be called can also make things colder. Do your fucking research.

  • please, explain the huge ass hole in the ozone

  • Has anyone noticed that none of the SOngs on this album are on itunes.

  • Not that I am a believer in the global warming everything corporate is evil, but I think this is a good song. Although it does sound a lot like Higher Power.

  • Awesome Video and an Awesome song

  • Amazing song!

  • Boston is honestly one of the best bands to ever have existed. They still got it!!! LOVE YA BOSTON!!!!!! ROCK ON!!! *\0/*

  • Brilliant! Love the song, love the lyrics-True words.

  • Weeeeeaakkkk !

  • love it when songs relate to real life issues. Go Boston!!

  • Yeah I think.

  • "corporate rock" was coined by artists/critics who were jealous of the success of these classic rock bands... we can't all look like Steve Perry :-) There is a show I saw where Joey Ramone is calling it that, and they cut to Steve Perry who rebutts "they're just jealous"

  • these guys are so anti corporate its amazing, considering the success they enjoyed. they never sold out to the recording companies and hence, 4 albums in their first 20+ years. they stood for something! rock on boston, miss you brad rip

  • They're only called corporate rockers because Tom's sound image has shown to be a good part of pop music tone, so the big'uns ripped off his ideas and whenever a pop song needed a hard rock section, they went to the Boston records for guidance. It's even mentioned in the Rockman promos-Tom has created the archetypal rock n' roll sound, and everyone wants it. I say you don't knock the creators of the cliche, just the unabashed rip-off artists...

  • i think your missing the point of the song, it is their view of the u.s. it has nothing to do with their image. if someone considers boston "pop" they should get a head exam

  • awesome.

  • Wut?

  • Great song!!!

  • Ya I agree. Boston Jams
