Hello mate, i got Os x Lion v 10.7 and when i am on step "select size of partition" the only thing that i can see on BootCamp is "Download the Latest Windows support from Apple" and after that i am downloading all that shits.. and next step is 2 burn it on CD or DvD and after all that i can't make partition or install Windows... Help me please !

@jchrist103 When you open up boot camp assistant, the first step is to check off what you want to install, and then you have to put in a disk, and it will download the drivers for you and burn it to the disk.

i installed windows7.. but once the installation was complete it went thru acc setup.. i did all.. and the moment it was to login for the first time it loggedout and tht's it.. i could never get there again.. it was asking me to boot thru cd ot dvd.. if i had choose it'd take there... if not then it would get stuck at tht point.. wht to do???

@Trazzum There is no "osx lion disk". You can only get OSX Lion through the Mac App Store, its then "saved" to your iTunes account.

they send it to your email and you have to instal it.

@FSXforChrist i got the same problem , you need to buy an network adapter. it helps your computer to connect to the internet. if you buy it you need software sometimes. you can download it on the site of the adapter if needed and put it on usb and then open it on your booted windows.

@jaspers22 vmware fusion is slower , because you have 2 sorts of systems running. its slower but if you have much RAM you can do it. its a bit faster installation.

@jpog1289 You have to install Windows 7 32 bit but you cant change to 32 bit if you've installed 64bit. Try to do a right click on steam.exe go to Propertys - Compatibility and set it on Windows XP SP3. If it doesn't work install Windows 7 32 bit or google for a solution.

all you have to do is on your mac go to system preferences

go to startup disk, you'll see mac os x on the upper left corner and then in the middle windows on boot camp

just click windows and in that same window click restart thats it.

@11berkay007 Then try to create a partition with the Disk Utility and just set it as FAT. Rename it to BOOTCAMP. Then you insert your installation CD and restart your mac. At startup hold down the option-key on your keyboard, boot from your CD and soo on......

Later just select your created partition and install Windows on it. I've never had a problem with this.

@aroccattio If you do this with Bootcamp you wont lose any data. But be shure that you choose the right partition while windows is installing. If you choose the "BOOTCAMP"-Partition nothing will be lose. And than you dont need to install Snow Leopard new.

Yust hold down the alt-key while the mac is starting up after the whole installation process. Than you can choose between MAC OS X and Windows.

@PolishGuy89 It wont slow down your mac os but it is very slowly if you start windows. To boot with windows it takes a few minutes. But Mac OS X is as fast as before.
