One problem was that the chuck lost grip and therefore stopped turning the main drive shaft. With a little thinking there were several solutions to that problem. The entire concept of this project/experiment was to put together a "quick cheap” functional ball mill for the very occasional user like myself. I have only used it a couple of times for more then 4 continuous days and it did a surprisingly good job.
How large of a rubber chamber do you think you could fit on it? I'm more interested in milling larger batches of oxidizers.
