I was a Raider hater back in the day but I still have my white t-shirt with 'Bo Knows' in hot pink on it...right next to my color changing Hypercolor t-shirt and some tight, ripped up levi's.
Now that I think about it, between the fashions and bands with men dressed as women, the late 80's/early 90's were gay.
This man won a heisman, made the big show in only 53 games, excelled at his "hobby" by being the best rusher in the league at the time, and shot a charging bear in the head TWICE with his dam sidearm! Not to mention he was one of the fastest athletes in the country, even at 230 lbs. Top 3 athletes ever
Yep. Bosworth-less had been running his mouth about how he was going to handle Bo so easily. Then, the one play that Bosworth-less actually got onto Bo, he's punked. No contest. That's what makes a below-average tackle attempt by a far-below-average LB so wonderful.
this has nothing to do with the actual video. but can hip hop artists please, PLEASE stop ripping little chunks out of classic songs just so they can play it over and over again while rapping over it?
@LedZeppelin222 Thats called sampling... and hip hop artists have been doing that since the beginning of hip hop. Other genres do it as well so its not hip hop exclusive
Bo Jackson. All you can say is IF he never got hurt....
@662chillin thanks for clearing that up for me, because i wasn't intentionally describing it in a way that accentuated my points as to why i think it's stupid for the sake of getting my point across.
also. just because you know the name of it and that hip hop artists have been doing it since the beginning of hip hop doesn't make it the least bit cooler.
barry sanders and bo jackson are still behind walter payton in my eyes....bo was/is the most impressive i've seen, but down to down walter payton is the best..blocking,running,receiving
I was a young seahawks fan watching this game--must have been 7 or 8 years old at the time. I'll never forget the feeling of Bo Jackson destroying the Hawks, doing whatever he wanted all day long.
And they probably laugh at you because that play was the furthest thing from a "trucking". Bo actually turned his back on Boz and fell into the endzone after Boz stood him up and tried to strip the ball.
@tstamper26 Lets do some simple football math... If you make contact at the 3 yard line and the ball carrier winds up 3 yards deep in the endzone... Answer: YOU GOT FUCKIN TRUCKED 6 YARDS! If he stopped the score or atleast if Bo had to stretch for the endzone then maybe. Bo dragged his ass into paydirt. How can you see that and say anything else? Have you ever played football (in pads)? I doubt it talking like that
@BUBOONOGAS It looks like a normal open field tackle to me. When the contact happened, Boz did not get pushed back. He stood his ground. How is this being "trucked"? Bo then dipped his shoulder under Boz, turned his back to him and slipped/fell sideways into the endzone as Boz then tried to rip out the ball. Bo went around Boz, he did not go over or through him. The video does not lie. I'm not disputing Bo gained yardage. Buy this play is an average tackle seen on every down of football.
@tstamper26 Try explaining to the millions of football fans that feel as I do. You are the only person that I have ever come across that defends him so vehemently. You must be bosworth himself! Fact of the matter is, bosworths career is defined by that single play and on that play he ended it on his back. I honestly think that if #56 didnt come over to help then Bo couldve ran another 99 yards
@BUBOONOGAS I'm hardly the only person to question this play, read through the comments of any Youtube video of this play and you'll see the same opinion as mine. Its an average tackle that you see many times a game. It does not live up to the hype and legendary status that people place upon it. I'm not here to judge Boz's career, or Bo's career. Simply analyzing this one play objectively. Can you do the same? Put your preconceived notions aside, Bo did not run over or "truck" Boz on this play.
@Motoko1134 If Bo never got hurt and played football full time he wouldve broken every rushing record plus TDs for single season and career. He was like a stronger/faster Adrian Peterson that didnt fumble
Bosworth then Curry...

To this day when I meet a Seahawks fan I bring up Bo Jackson trucking Bosworth into the endzone within the first 90 seconds of conversation.
