Its a mod you can do to your PS2, its pretty easy. I'm not sure where you download the songs from, but you then burn them on a disc, start your PS2 with GH2 in it and replace the disc right away using a little hook thing to pull the tray out (not by hitting eject), and it loads your custom songs. The song titles at the beginning of the song don't change from what they originally are. This person just chose to replace Mother, but I've played Beer before and had it replace Warpigs as well.

On the other hand, Dragonforce plays stuff in the studio at about 1/2 of the speed that you hear in the recording, then they speed it up in post-production. That's why they can't do concerts. So playing dragonforce on guitar, at studio speed, is not all that difficult.

how can GH be harder than playing the real guitar? you ca say that guitar hero is harder than the real thing, only if you REALLY suck bad at guitar playing... if you want to be really good at GH, you can have fun with it everyday by playing it for an hour or two and in six months you'll be a demigod, but the guitar needs several hours of study and theory learning everyday during your entire life to be really good at it... it requires persistance, talent, study, and lots of other great aptitudes.

Yeah it is much easier to play songs on GH than real guitar. I've been playing for about 8 years and you can get to Expert standard and do ridiculous solos within a few weeks of playing every now and then!

Don't get me wrong, I haven't been practicing two hours a day like I had originally hoped that I would, but I've given it a decent shot. I'm sure there are some people with enough natural talent to learn guitar THAT quickly, but most of us aren't those people. I don't particularly enjoy GH, but I do like other games, and I think that Guitar Hero is a good thing for people who just like pretending to be a rock star without the risk of Courtney Love driving you to suicide.
