@bellatrixLima Are the batteries inserted correct? can you power the camera on? If so, are you able to take a photo? Take the first photo, then the protective black sleeve will be ejected. The number should appear then.
Can I know what's the problem if the pictures that taken with my piano black sometimes have double outline? Is it because of the skills problem or that's something wrong with my piano black? Looking forward to your reply. Thanks.
@91coolist Double Outline? IF you are shooting in lowlight situations, try to keep the camera steady. In lowlight, the camera will use a slightly slower shutterspeed with the flash to capture more background lighting but the slow shutter (if camera moves) may cause shake, possible your "double" effect.
@fujiguys the double outline i mean is like a the outline of the object in picture is not sharp. they are slightly blur and have shadow. anyway thanks for your reply. it does helps! i tried and the outline is sharp now no more blur image.
I really enjoy your videos! Is there a Fuji camera that has a storage space for an SD card, so it prints the shots and stores the image onto the card itself as well?
@Topnutter Thanks. Unfortunately there isn't a Fuji camera that can take digital images and then print on the spot. Polaroid has a device like that but it's big, image quality of digital is not very good, and print out is worse (IMHO).
@zackzach Depends, compared to the Instax Mini7S, the 50s is better in the sense it has variable shutterspeed. The 7S only uses 1 shutterspeed and so the flash will fire all the time. Also, some features differ with the 50s having a self-timer, a tripod mount. As far as image quality however, they both should yield similar results
people from australia, ive searched and searched for on of these..and could not find one store that sold it. but you guys should look on ebay! from hong kong or korea! way easy and most of them have free postage
So is there anyway you can do a double exposure on a single film with this camera? I saw a post that it had a mode which could do that. Please let me know
@leetickseng It's called Parallax. When you look at the viewfinder, the actual image is captured by the lens. When you look through the VF, you are not looking through the lens and therefor there will be a parallax. The further the subject is away, the less parallax exist. This is normal with cameras that have optical viewfinders (Excluding DSLR of course since then VF is actually looking through the lens)
@leetickseng You have to compensate. After a while it will come naturally to you on how to frame in your mind. The optical viewfinder will merely be for reference.

this one or mini 25 hello kiity? i like the color and the self mirror of mini 25 but this one got more features like self timer im struggling on which one shd i get anyone have any idea?
@wingwingladys Image Quality would be similar on both models. I would go with what's less expensive or available. Most of the time, you don't need the mirror to do self-portraits as it pretty easy to guess where you are shooting.
I have the 210 and love it, but hate lugging it around for parties and don't really love the wide format for close up portraits. I'm thinking about adding one of the mini's to my instax collection. But I can't decide between the 7s, 25, or 50s. Help??? The 7s is cheapest and the 50s is most expensive... but if they're honestly the same camera, I'd rather buy the cheaper camera and use the extra cash for film. But if the 50s is a lot better, I'll spring for that. Honest opinion please?
@amyinred Image quality are the same however the Instax Mini 50 has a variable shutter and so in good lighting, the flash might not be required. This will of course give you better looking photo's.
@fujiguys I ended up ordering the 50 and it came in the mail yesterday! I like it a lot so far! It's really lightweight and looks more professional than the other minis. Doesn't look as much like a "toy" :] I also like the black color because it looks good sitting next to my 210. Can't wait to bring this... everywhere!
@crystalloves12 Urban Outfitters is the only retail store I know personally that carries it... but your best deal is going to be from Amazon.com. Especially for the film.
and i am also wondering whether to select L or D while taking pictures, do you press the opposite condition, or do you press the same such as: D for being IN a dark area, or L for being in a dark area?? Thanks! :)
@sepax05 In bright light, if you find your images to washed-out, set the dail to "D" to get a darker image. In lower light situations, if you find your images to dark, change the setting to "L" to get a lighter image.
@sepax05 Actually, there is no way to turn off the flash on this camera. There are 3 modes, Automatically (camera use flash and adjust shutterspeed accordingly, Forced Flash -flash fires and use faster shutterspeeds good for outdoor shooting to fill in shadows, and Landscape mode (flash will fire if lighting is not sufficient). Hope this helps.
@bbrocks1039 Film is approx $20 CDN for 2-Pack of 10 film per pack (20 film). In Canada, check out fujifilm.ca and click on the Instax product pages to see where you can buy film from.
@99thisisme Yes you can turn of the flash however depending on the lighting conditions, the flash may fire if it feels lighting is not adequate enough.
@fujiguys Would you guys recommend getting the fujifilm instax 25 or instax 50? having a really hard time deciding. Thanks! Appreciate your replies :)
@99thisisme Quality will be the same on both cameras. The Instax 25 is not available in Canada so that is why we haven't made any videos on it. Instax 50 is pretty much the same as the 25 but adds Self Timer feature that can take 2 photos, a second shutter release button to help with taking landscape shots easier. Again, quality are the same on both cameras.
@fujiguys also for the self timer mode, each time we press that button, it means 2 shots will come out? it can't only be 1 shot that comes out? thanks!!!!!
@nyappiko 50s offers variable shutterspeed (so with good lighting, flash can be disabled), two shutter release button, a self-timer feature (can take 2 pictures), slightly slimmer in design, a LCD screen to display remainingg shots, flash mode, etc.. Mini Instax 7s has 1 shutterspeed of 1/60s so the flash always need to fire.
@yinying1002 Sorry i forgot to show the pictures on this video (they take a little over a minute to fully develop by itself) They turned out good. I toss them somewhere now and can't find them.
@kharbootah100 im pretty sure that the camera works by exposing light onto the film. the chemicals in the film then develop the picture, so there isnt an ink bottle or anything like that.
@kharbootah100 Hi, This camera is a "Film" camera. There are not inks nor any priniting head inside. When the shutter opens on this camera, light gets exposed to the "Film". The light that reacts with the film to produce an "Instant" image. So, with this camera, all you have to do it buy film. They are sold mostly in a 2Pack of 10 films each cartidge.
@ohipin Unbalanced? not sure what you mean. It is not perfectly levelled?? or subject is shifted and not dead center? If that is the case, this is called "parallax" and happens when using an optical viewfinder to compose your picture. The viewfinder is not in the exact same plane as the lens capturing the image so you will have a shift in the image (or parralax). As the subject moves further and further away from you, less parallax is evident.
Looks awesome, definitely be looking for this one, after I get a Instax-Wide (recently got a instax mini 20 to test the waters of the new instax world). As a sidenote, I thought of a great new Fuji Product: Make a third model Camera and third instax film brand that is the same size and pack size as the 600 or S-70 film. You can make the camera longer/thinner almost like Sx-70 I think but doesn't foldout other then the lens when ready to take a photo.
@whaiver Plus with the film being the pack and film size as the old Polaroids it can be used in old cameras so you can whip off the rip off artist's at the impossible project who charge 40 bucks for less and extremely inferior film and maybe get people to abandon those old camera's to get your new one's along the way. Retro is really in, so go all out.
@OurMindBodyNSoul That part was mainly a motivater, but it's a good idea, and make a separate battery that can be added to the packs to go onto the packs that goin the older cameras, and can be used on old Polaroid cartridges to make no reason to get impossible ripoff film.
@57YL3 Strap should be included. Did the packaging look new? Please check the package again. If not, contact the store where you purchase it from. Camera strap is included.
@fujiguys Yup the guy who helped me got me a new one from the back. Anyway the strap doesn't really matter, I can buy one anywhere. I'd just like to say I'm aboslutely in love with the piano black finish! So sleek and modern looking. Next up I'm definitely lookin into the instax 210! Thanks fujiguys
@ctfu11 Instax mini 50s is new. There are two shutter buttons so you can shoot vertical or horinzontal easier. There is also a self-timer mode that allows you to take 2 shots.
Wanted to get this camera, but noticed that it does not have the mirror compared to the instax 25. Is it hard to take photos aimed at oneself & a friend without the mirror?
@shyhrchmd Not really, the camera has a fixed lens. Shouldn't be that hard to do self portraits. One good thing is there is a self-timer on the camera.
@xoxkatiiee 50s or the 210 as they offer variable electronic shutters. 50s gives you smaller sized prints while the 210 offers a larger print size (but makes the camera physically larger too). I prefer the 50s for the physical size and fun size print. Image quality however are similar with both.
@yellow7purple There is no ink. It uses "instant film". When the film is exposed to light, and image is created. Chemicals in the "instant film" starts to react which "instantly" develops the photo. As for battery life, approx 25-30 film packs (packs of 10) = 250-300 instant photos.
@iBrittt Instax 50s. It is the newer model and offers a secondary shutter release on the side of the camera. IQ however for both should be the same. Also, Mini 50s also has a 2 shot self-timer that takes two photos so one can be given to a friend while you keep the other.
@astridyy132 Yes however the flash will still fire unless there is absolute enough lighting. i.e in an office, with the flash off, the flash will still fire. Aiming the camera directly at the light above, the flash will not fire. So if it is bright enough (outside in sunny day), then the flash may not fire.
How would you pitch this camera in one sentence? What sets it apart from the rest? I've owned a Canon PnS Digital Elph but this looks very unique; I'm just not sure it has anything else to really set it apart fromt he pack.
@supercooled This is not a digital camera. This is a film camera that offers "Instant Prints". Most people with digital cameras now a days tend not to print many pictures (if any at all). This camera offers you the luxury of having an instant print which you can share with your friends. This does not replace a digital camera. If you want an instant print in a fun sized photo, buy this camera. :-)
Hi, I would like to check if there is any lens for the mini 50s since I just bought mine few days ago. It's a great camera indeed but I wanna try out more on wide/colour lens. Most of the lens I found are for mini 7s/25. Does 50s have wide lens too?
This camera is shown on the Canadian site and I am wondering when it will be available in Canada for purchase. I have been planning on getting the white camera but seeing as this one is more compact and sleek and does come with a macro lens I am wanting to hold off and buy this.
@lazychiue Instax 50s would be the newer version of the camera and has more exposure controls including 2 shutter buttons. They are similar in size. Both cameras use a Lithium CR2 that last quite a long time. Quality on both should be the same however. The mini 50 is a nice camera.
I know this sounds silly what I'm about to say but I'm gonna say it anyway. I love this camera and I really want to get it but I also want to be able to put my pictures on my pc, I know that's where digital camera's come in but is there anyway whit this one to? xx
@CarlijnKortland You can use a convention flatbed scanner and scan your photos. More mulit-photo printers have build in scanners. Just scan at a high DPI (or select "Photo" setting) to get the best quality. You can also buy a digital camera to take photo's of your instant film photos as well, just turn of the flash (use a tripod if required)
Went to the local camera store to see the 7s and 50s in person myself. 50s is super sleak but finger print magnet. I really do like the modern automatic features of 50s but probably going to buy the 7s tomorrow or Monday (as it's cheaper). I also plan on buying the Diana F+ with the Instant Back. Love the look of the retro pinhole cameras but also love Instanx feature.
@summer134679 I personally like the 50's or the 7s as they are smaller in size (camera and photo). If you are using this more for work, than the Instax 210 would be a little better due to the film size. Quality on both cameras however should remain the same.

@ctfu11 Instax mini 50s is new. There are two shutter buttons so you can shoot vertical or horinzontal easier. There is also a self-timer mode that allows you to take 2 shots.
fujiguys 7 months ago
how do you know if the battery is running out? >__<
yizhouli 7 months ago
@yizhouli If you notice the flash is taking long and long to recharge after every shot.
fujiguys 7 months ago
can you turn off the flash?
vn01208503 7 months ago
@vn01208503 Yes, the flash can be disabled however it will still fire unless there is sufficient lighting in the room.
fujiguys 7 months ago
are there any differences in 50s and 25s result photos?
bakanishi1 8 months ago
@bakanishi1 No. Results should be similar as the use the same film.
fujiguys 7 months ago
Wanted to get this camera, but noticed that it does not have the mirror compared to the instax 25. Is it hard to take photos aimed at oneself & a friend without the mirror?
shyhrchmd 8 months ago
@shyhrchmd Not really, the camera has a fixed lens. Shouldn't be that hard to do self portraits. One good thing is there is a self-timer on the camera.

1 person accidentally press the shutter like 7:00

@aliancer That was me.. Opps.. (two shutter buttons on this camera)
fujiguys 8 months ago
What, in your opinions, is the best instant camera out of the 3 Fuji instant cameras that you have reviewed?
xoxkatiiee 8 months ago
@xoxkatiiee 50s or the 210 as they offer variable electronic shutters. 50s gives you smaller sized prints while the 210 offers a larger print size (but makes the camera physically larger too). I prefer the 50s for the physical size and fun size print. Image quality however are similar with both.
fujiguys 8 months ago
@yellow7purple Includes macro lens but does not have a mirror.
fujiguys 8 months ago
@yellow7purple There is no ink. It uses "instant film". When the film is exposed to light, and image is created. Chemicals in the "instant film" starts to react which "instantly" develops the photo. As for battery life, approx 25-30 film packs (packs of 10) = 250-300 instant photos.

Is the fuji Instax 25 better than the 50s?? Which one should I get for my bday!!!
iBrittt 8 months ago
@iBrittt Instax 50s. It is the newer model and offers a secondary shutter release on the side of the camera. IQ however for both should be the same. Also, Mini 50s also has a 2 shot self-timer that takes two photos so one can be given to a friend while you keep the other.
fujiguys 8 months ago
@fujiguys So what is the newest model of these instant cameras?
iBrittt 8 months ago
@iBrittt Yes, the Instax 50s is the newest model.
fujiguys 8 months ago
Can I use Instax Wide Instant Film for this and Fuji's Instax Mini 25?
MyTeddySweety 8 months ago
@MyTeddySweety You can't use wide instant film as it will not fit on the mini 50. The Mini25 however does use the same film as the mini50
fujiguys 8 months ago
so there's an off option for the flash?
astridyy132 8 months ago
@astridyy132 Yes however the flash will still fire unless there is absolute enough lighting. i.e in an office, with the flash off, the flash will still fire. Aiming the camera directly at the light above, the flash will not fire. So if it is bright enough (outside in sunny day), then the flash may not fire.
fujiguys 8 months ago
How would you pitch this camera in one sentence? What sets it apart from the rest? I've owned a Canon PnS Digital Elph but this looks very unique; I'm just not sure it has anything else to really set it apart fromt he pack.
supercooled 9 months ago
@supercooled This is not a digital camera. This is a film camera that offers "Instant Prints". Most people with digital cameras now a days tend not to print many pictures (if any at all). This camera offers you the luxury of having an instant print which you can share with your friends. This does not replace a digital camera. If you want an instant print in a fun sized photo, buy this camera. :-)
fujiguys 8 months ago
Hi, I would like to check if there is any lens for the mini 50s since I just bought mine few days ago. It's a great camera indeed but I wanna try out more on wide/colour lens. Most of the lens I found are for mini 7s/25. Does 50s have wide lens too?
kusuriya 9 months ago
@kusuriya Sorry, currently, there are no accessory lens available for it other than the included macro lens.
fujiguys 9 months ago
does it have a built in self shot mirror?
Defenizefise 9 months ago
@Defenizefise No. but it does have a self-timer.
fujiguys 9 months ago
This camera is shown on the Canadian site and I am wondering when it will be available in Canada for purchase. I have been planning on getting the white camera but seeing as this one is more compact and sleek and does come with a macro lens I am wanting to hold off and buy this.
thanks!
capgungirl 9 months ago
@capgungirl Hi, It is available now at London Drugs, Blacks, & Henrys at the moment for Canada.

hello, i would like to ask some question before i make a decision which one to buy*
i am wondering mini 25 or 50s!!
1. which one is smaller one?
2. which one have more special feature?? (i saw online there are special lens could attach and give nice pic)
3. what batteries they are using??
i m sorry if i got so many questions, its like i save the money long time to buy this camera as a present for myself as graduation gift!
lazychiue 9 months ago
@lazychiue Instax 50s would be the newer version of the camera and has more exposure controls including 2 shutter buttons. They are similar in size. Both cameras use a Lithium CR2 that last quite a long time. Quality on both should be the same however. The mini 50 is a nice camera.
fujiguys 9 months ago
does the instax 7s filter and lens fit into the instax 50s?
cherrypetals102 9 months ago
@cherrypetals102 No, It doesn't fit
fujiguys 9 months ago
I know this sounds silly what I'm about to say but I'm gonna say it anyway. I love this camera and I really want to get it but I also want to be able to put my pictures on my pc, I know that's where digital camera's come in but is there anyway whit this one to? xx
CarlijnKortland 10 months ago
@CarlijnKortland You can use a convention flatbed scanner and scan your photos. More mulit-photo printers have build in scanners. Just scan at a high DPI (or select "Photo" setting) to get the best quality. You can also buy a digital camera to take photo's of your instant film photos as well, just turn of the flash (use a tripod if required)
fujiguys 10 months ago
Went to the local camera store to see the 7s and 50s in person myself. 50s is super sleak but finger print magnet. I really do like the modern automatic features of 50s but probably going to buy the 7s tomorrow or Monday (as it's cheaper). I also plan on buying the Diana F+ with the Instant Back. Love the look of the retro pinhole cameras but also love Instanx feature.

Should I get the Instax Mini 50s Piano Black or the Instax Mini 25?
tinyelel 10 months ago
@tinyelel Mini 50s is new. Both use same film so image quality results should be similar.
fujiguys 10 months ago
which do you guys think i shld purchase..the 210 or 50s?
summer134679 10 months ago
@summer134679 I personally like the 50's or the 7s as they are smaller in size (camera and photo). If you are using this more for work, than the Instax 210 would be a little better due to the film size. Quality on both cameras however should remain the same.
