record 30 or 60 fps tops... any increase makes the demo laggy. as far as slowmotion goes, 50% slowmotion is more than enough for most vids. otherwise use demo_timescale to make the slowdown. saves spaces. removes lag. unless you want to upload a 300 fps movie ofc. which you wont. that would be silly. go 30 fps when you do the final render and youre set with 30 recorded ingame. gl
