I liked the other microphone better, too loud, too breathy. I also use headsets and ventrilo a lot, and I've had to deal with the issue of a "better" microphone. Sure your voice might be clearer, but it's also too sensitive and too breathy, which is the case with your current mic. $20-$50 headset ftw.

Your voice quality is good, but, from having a lot of experience speaking into higher quality mic's, P's, T's and S's usually cause problems to people who don't know how to talk in them properly.

Either way, it doesn't matter, you have a smooth enough voice that it covers any hard P's or anything else.

I don't really notice an appreciable difference other than that the new mic needs to be repositioned so that you don't breathe into it so much.

The old mic is better. This one has noticeably more output but it has a harshness in the highs and mids that isn't good. The old one has a smoother sound.

Bizarre build by Sea...you really shouldn't go for tech (cloaked wraiths and academy) after going for a fastexpand vs a Terran who's gone two factories. Had Sea gone for a second factory instead of the starport he may have been able to hold.

Weird map. What on earth are the high ground sections with ramps behind the mineral lines for? I guess they're primarily for getting your SCVs tanked :) but you could also hide tech up there I suppose.

About the mic I do hear more "puuhh" sounds kind of like wind or spitting into the mic. Watched the FBH 2v2 game for reference like suggested and the old mic seems clearer. It's not so bad that it comes up all the time but to me it's enough to be noticeable.

I think the input level may have been a bit too high, there was a lot more wind/breathing type sound than usual. Otherwise I thought the sound quality was very clear.
