Perhaps a rather silly idea, but Blizzard could instead of creating a new race or class, create a new faction. Perhaps one that would allow you to play not only as one of the "good" guys, but also one of the bad guys. For example in WOTLK before you join alliance/horde as DK you were a minion of the Lich King. I for one found that way more enjoyable. You could work it out with a part of the community playing as The army of the lich king and the other part the good guys.

@florenmage Yes. I agree with you almost 100%. Naxx was a good thing to bring back, but the way they redid it sucked to nutz completely. There should be harder modes for every dungeon, but not annoyingly hard like Halls of Reflection was, that sucked. ANd Ulduar.....I never got to raid Ulduar when it was popular, but I heard it was so good. Just way too long. There were so much potential for Wrath.....and it blown up. R.I.P LK :(
@Wierdo011 HoR was one of the only 5player dungeons I enjoyed lol.I would laugh so hard when the tank left every time we got it.Because I knew that made completeing it that much more difficult.It was actually not that hard with a solid tank that knew what they were doing.I remember tanking it with no problem.As for Ulduar.Most beautiful instance in wow.I never got to do it though because of ToC.That's kind of why I hate ToC so damned much.PS Naxx40 for ever.Revamps suck!!!...
@florenmage Revamps are only as good as the work put into it. Naxx wasnt that well done....and ToC was good just had the wrong timing and playout. I do agree tho that Ulduar was beautiful, and I hope they make somthing just as good in MoP. That one seems to have some promise, considering it makes a reference to Ulduar :D.

After Cataclysm came, i played the game for another 2 months, and just gave up on it (not because of skills or other stuff), and i think that not only for me, but also for other people, the game ended with the death of Arthas, The Lich King

For the bullshit that happened, I have to say that ToC was great but, it's true, too small to be a 3.x raid. But it was still entertaining. Then the classes were still unique imo but the bosses that became harder an harder was a great idea I think. Casuals could relax on the first boss, while pro gamers have tons of trys on the second half.

WotLK was BC in bigger, with better graphics, music (nominated for best in-game music), story (Arthas of course), continent (according to the community) and a raid has never been as hard and entertaining as Ulduar, a boss has never been as hard as the LK (except C'Thun who was unkillable).
@Toini01 Most of the stuff you mentioned comes down to personal opinion. Northrend was bland and boring compared to outland zones. Sure it might've been bigger, but that doesn't mean better.
You're also forgetting all the rubbish things that happened during Wotlk. Need I mention Trial of the Crusader? The lack of challenge, except for the later bosses in Icecrown citadel? All classes becoming less and less unique, which is a bad thing imo ( Again, personal preference )

It really pisses me off when people call him Arthas... Fuck the book and how Arthas "Absorbed" Ner'zhul, they are one... And Ner'zhul is the Lich King moreso than Arthas. But together they are The LICH KING. I miss WotLK... For Ner'zhul! All he wanted to do was help his people, the orcs, and lead them away from demonic corruption... Instead he was tortured and thrown into Northrend by Kil'jaeden.
I will not say I will never play again. I've heard it far too often, and I loved this game. But the way they ended Wrath, actually takes away from the whole prophecy that was spoken of Arthas at his birth. Listen to the Wrath Cinematic again. Much of the original lore of WoW has already been lost, and now it's just about dead. We can argue about it, but the facts remain. World of Warcraft on line, has not stuck to the lore World of Warcraft originally had. But, it's Blizzard's game.
I've played this game from the beginning. I am one of those being spoken of in the new "Pandoria" cinematic. I played before WOW went on line! I know my lore. It tore me a part how they ended Arthas's story. It was far too easy to kill such a powerful character. But, I stuck around through Cata, because Death Wing has awsome lore! Blizzard is killing the game for many of us "originals". It's not what I fell in love with in the beginning. I don't get the chills at the idea of this new expansion.

No one is going to give a shit if Deathwing dies. So another dragon bites the dust, so what; they're kind of meant to get killed by a raid of pissed off people anyway. But Arthas was different... combating him taught us that it is not so much the end of the road that is the reward for our toils, but rather, it is the journey of the road itself, in retrospect, that is the chiefest of calamities.

the thing was that knights usually gave their horses the name of a characteristic or feature of them. Thats why Uther's mount was named Firm and that's why Arthas mount was named INVINCIBLE
They say the road to evil is often laced with good intentions. It may have started this way, but he became corrupted. This song is for the memory of the Arthas that died the day he became the Lich King.
In the actual story, Arthas becoming the Lich King was the "evil" enemy, one of the main plots of the story. Now with him dead, it doesn't really make sense. Sure, bring a new enemy, but Arthas was everything.
WoW in itself is a good game, however after playing Warcraft i hate killing my favourite character, like Arthas, such a rich history behind him then poof, you killed him :I

It really pisses me off when people call him Arthas... Fuck the book and how Arthas "Absorbed" Ner'zhul, they are one... And Ner'zhul is the Lich King moreso than Arthas. But together they are The LICH KING. I miss WotLK... For Ner'zhul! All he wanted to do was help his people, the orcs, and lead them away from demonic corruption... Instead he was tortured and thrown into Northrend by Kil'jaeden.

I will not say I will never play again. I've heard it far too often, and I loved this game. But the way they ended Wrath, actually takes away from the whole prophecy that was spoken of Arthas at his birth. Listen to the Wrath Cinematic again. Much of the original lore of WoW has already been lost, and now it's just about dead. We can argue about it, but the facts remain. World of Warcraft on line, has not stuck to the lore World of Warcraft originally had. But, it's Blizzard's game.

I've played this game from the beginning. I am one of those being spoken of in the new "Pandoria" cinematic. I played before WOW went on line! I know my lore. It tore me a part how they ended Arthas's story. It was far too easy to kill such a powerful character. But, I stuck around through Cata, because Death Wing has awsome lore! Blizzard is killing the game for many of us "originals". It's not what I fell in love with in the beginning. I don't get the chills at the idea of this new expansion.

@Legoldos Its the fact arthas was a very iconic but simple and traditonal villian. very anakin skywalker/darth vader. music like this makes you wonder how could such a noble price turn to evil. his death left a lot of fans feeling empty that such a simple but yet so epic character has gone. blizzard ended wrath kinda side ways, but arthas whole story wasnt difficult to follow, just some what emotionally enjoyable and hence despite how evil he was it was sad to see him go.

No one is going to give a shit if Deathwing dies. So another dragon bites the dust, so what; they're kind of meant to get killed by a raid of pissed off people anyway. But Arthas was different... combating him taught us that it is not so much the end of the road that is the reward for our toils, but rather, it is the journey of the road itself, in retrospect, that is the chiefest of calamities.
There shall never be another titan such as he.

He was a human who fell to something that he believed was right, but only believed it was right because he had hate in his eyes; he had vengeance in his heart. He wanted to kill the scourge, and he thought he could only do that if he wielded the runeblade named "Frostmourne". He was wrong. He made a mistake. And that mistake cost hundreds of thousands of lives.

the thing was that knights usually gave their horses the name of a characteristic or feature of them. Thats why Uther's mount was named Firm and that's why Arthas mount was named INVINCIBLE

In the actual story, Arthas becoming the Lich King was the "evil" enemy, one of the main plots of the story. Now with him dead, it doesn't really make sense. Sure, bring a new enemy, but Arthas was everything.
