She also said that most of the time she didn't know where Michael was, that he would never call, and that the people in his camp would never tell her where he was. Michael forced that divorce upon LMP, and he needed it sooner rather than later since he had accepted Debbie Rowe's offer to have children for him at least as early as November of 1995.

I think Lisa Marie liked the idea of being married to "Michael Jackson" the magical, larger than life, mysterious legend. She was charmed by him and infatuated with him, but that doesn't make for a lasting relationship. Looking back, I don't think she ever truly understood him or was able to relate to him as a person.

He's also the one who went to Harlem, NY in 2002 to speak out against racism in the music industry, and specifically targeted Elvis Presley as not having written some of his most successful songs. I'm not 100% sure why Michael hated her but he must have had his reasons.

Second, that article was written by Maureen Orth who is the kind of person most people would not even stop to give the time of day to, no less a story. Frankly, @DancersRevenge, you are drawing odd conclusions about a culture you know very little about. The reality is many, many people have skin peels. It's another way to produce an even skin tone. Some people are concerned about being too pale, so they tan regularly. Other people are concerned about being browner than they would like or having a spotty complexion (as Michael was), so they use a skin peel.

Michael complained at Harlem, when he was speaking out against RACISM in the music industry, that one of the myths that ppl created to bturn the public against him after he had the biggest selling album of all time was to say he "bleached his skin". It is possible that Michael's drive to succeed was absolutely fundamental to his existence. Conceivable, one could argue that the source of that drive was his father or that relationship.

@TippiP50 I'm having trouble finding the interview where Quincy refers to Michael's children's skin colour but he definitely did, I remember seeing it and feeling stunned that he said it. Like I say I am also shocked at what he said about chemical peels. Plenty of fan comments at these videos sites reflect the fact that Quincy alluded to racial issues, but I think possibly those vids have been edited or pulled, but you can still see Quincy telling Couric that Michael used "chemical peels".

Celebrities such as Lena Horne, Halle Berry, and Michael Jackson, to name just a few, have alluded to this. The father of my children is white, consequently Michael's, Quincy's and my children look similar in appearance. I have commented at these videos a number of times before.

Perhaps what you are remembering and what you accepted as accurate is that comment. No reference to race or Michael's children is ever made in the video itself.

She also said that most of the time she didn't know where Michael was, that he would never call, and that the people in his camp would never tell her where he was. Michael forced that divorce upon LMP, and he needed it sooner rather than later since he had accepted Debbie Rowe's offer to have children for him at least as early as November of 1995.

I remember after the divorce since that six month split before hand, Lisa wanted to have a singing career,to boost it was being with Michael since he's influence is far greater & far-reaching than Presley's. I think Lisa Marie liked the idea of being married to "Michael Jackson" the magical, larger than life, mysterious legend. She was charmed by him and infatuated with him, but that doesn't make for a lasting relationship. Looking back, I don't think she ever truly understood him or was able to relate to him as a person.

He's also the one who went to Harlem, NY in 2002 to speak out against racism in the music industry, and specifically targeted Elvis Presley as not having written some of his most successful songs. I'm not 100% sure why Michael hated her but he must have had his reasons.

Frankly, @DancersRevenge, you are drawing odd conclusions about a culture you know very little about. The reality is many, many people have skin peels. It's another way to produce an even skin tone. Some people are concerned about being too pale, so they tan regularly. Other people are concerned about being browner than they would like or having a spotty complexion (as Michael was), so they use a skin peel.

It is possible that Michael's drive to succeed was absolutely fundamental to his existence. Conceivable, one could argue that the source of that drive was his father or that relationship.
Being in a constant and unending battle with a collective force that is as mindless and destructive as the media must have felt like being in a holding tank with a great white shark. It is no wonder Michael would go into what LMP referred to as DefCon2 mode whenever she showed up.

@TippiP50 I'm having trouble finding the interview where Quincy refers to Michael's children's skin colour but he definitely did, I remember seeing it and feeling stunned that he said it. Like I say I am also shocked at what he said about chemical peels. Plenty of fan comments at these videos sites reflect the fact that Quincy alluded to racial issues, but I think possibly those vids have been edited or pulled, but you can still see Quincy telling Couric that Michael used "chemical peels".

Celebrities such as Lena Horne, Halle Berry, and Michael Jackson, to name just a few, have alluded to this. Essentially, one would have to be a black person to be aware of the issues and understand them.
