I want to say before, cause didn't Claudia hold up the Hotel that one time Sonny had that party for her? Then she took Carly hostage (while Carly was ready to give birth?) Then that's when Claudia took Carly to the cabin, then she had Josselyn! I'm pretty sure that happened in 2009!

Michael was shot April 08 & was comatose until May 09. Sonny found out just before Claudia's birthday party that she was responsible for M's shooting, and called her out on it in the middle of the party (late Oct 09). That's when Claudia took Carly hostage, Joss born in the cabin, Michael kills Claudia 11-4-09.

Why did they break up? They dated and she got shot not once but twice because of what Sonny does, you would think that Sonny would want to get out the mob business (which he does) or at least make an effort to get out... after all the people he has hurt, Lily and their unborn child, Carly and being kidnapped, being shot (by Sonny trying to kill Lorenzo Alcazar) Kate being shot twice, plus hurting himself, hes been shot, stabbed, almost drowned! I don't know, but I still LOVE Sonny!!!
