When you're okay with hearing bad shameless things, there's a problem in your heart, and you lose your imaan/faith....so true.. I still cringe when I hear or see really bad things, but I hope it stays like that. I don't want to be okay with seeing these things later; I don't want to be desensitized... however, I used to have pride in my innocense, but I got rid of it. Almost all 'arrogance' pride turns into an ego problem later, and it's a disease of the heart we must prevent..

Yes, social media (i.e. Facebook) has allowed people 2 be immodest, indirectly. People should watch what they post in public places b/c it does say something about their character. I am not a follower of the Muslim religion; however, I was watching other videos about modesty & happened upon this one. Modesty is modesty, no matter the religion. Answer me this: Why is it that men say 1 thing, but they do another? Case in point: they seek women that have unacceptable dress. Interesting video.

But i was wondering what are your opinions of video games on playstation. xbox etc like the "call of duty games" which are about violence and killing but obviously iy isnt real, would you say this is haram and should be avoided, thankyou, may allah forgive us of all our sins and let us enter the gardens of heaven.

He is not really talking about the west being negative or having negative influences. The kind of things he is referring to are available on the internet, no matter where you live, & they don't always come from western countries. Adult content videos, i.e, come from countries all over the world - not necessarily western countries. This is not a concern for Muslims only. Most parents have this concern also - hence the high demand for child protection software for the internet.
