  • Right when he got it in the door!

  • Iwo Jima!

  • "Believe me, somewhere in this business, this has happened before."

  • Explanation: Party for the Sterling Cooper & British ad agency merger. A ride-on mower is in the office (gift from another client). People get tipsy. Incompetent secretary drives mower, runs over the foot of new British exec. Brit exec has badly mangled foot, walls have blood all over them, Roger has epic zinger.

  • I dont get it? Anyone care to explain?

  • At the end, Roger's just like "Fuck Yea."

  • i'm sorry i'm from Italy... i love mad men and roger sterling, but i don't understand why this should be funny... maybe cause he is referring to some words or phrase used in american culture...right? can someone explain this to me, please...?

  • @atreccano "to get your foot in the door" is a phrase that basically means you have an opportunity or you have taken the first step towards some goal.

  • @pinkeagle9 Thank you, now i get it.

  • @atreccano Actually it is a technique of door to door salespeople. They get

there foot inside the door frame so that you can't close the door on them.

    Pinkagle9 sums it up perfectly!

  • Bazinga!

  • EPIC ZINGER

  • Perhaps the best sterling line of the series
