If Chinese govt. does not care, they should not helped the Tibetans & let them rot instead. Just few hours of earthquake they r there helping already. If the Chinese troops are immoral & ruthless they should NOT be there to help. But somehow it is all the contrary. The one that helps Tibetan the fastest & with the most money, equipment, & men power is so far Chinese govt. Not other countries or other organizations. Not even the Dalai. Need 2 help the Tibetan & way surpass Chinese help.

Although it may seem that we are having more earthquakes, earthquakes of magnitude 7.0 or greater have remained fairly constant throughout this century and, according to our records, have actually seemed to decrease in recent years.

@carmenlidia13 Fact is there have been a big rise in large earthquakes.....The NEIC offers the possible explanation that they are capable of recording more quakes due to more stations and better equipment......this maybe true....but it is speculation on their part.....stats show a large rise in big quakes
