I now have a 1998 Suzuki Savage LS650, and despite some of it's quirks , I still love riding it. I have posted 2 videos of my savage on my channel. I need to get a master head gasket for it , a new rear tire and some dust covers for the front forks, and I had to get the front brake caliper assembly replaced along with some new mirrors, but it is still the best bike I have ridden next to my 2005 Honda Rebel. It is my project bike right now.
I have had a 2005 Honda Rebel, and a 1977 Kawasaki KZ650, as well as a 2004 Suzuki Savage, and from my own personal experiences, the Rebel was an ok bike, however, the Suzuki Savage was the best bike I have had. It may be a small bike and small frame bike for some, but I liked the Savage better than the 1977 Kawasaki KZ650. The Kawasaki KZ650 would either die at a stop light or die completely, while the Savage was more reliable.
not chick bikes, just not fat dude bikes! There are some men who God didn't use elephant bones to make. I'm 5'6'' 150 lbs. and the s40 aka Savage will fly with me on it. I own an S40 and a Suzuki Burgman 400, both bikes have done over 90 with me on them.
How much did you get for it? Mine has 2300 miles and is a 2004. It's a good chick bike but my 235 fat man azz can barely get 70mph on the highway. and in california people do 80.
Its a halfaharley. cool bike

Nice bike but too slow really, great for nipping around town though if I was using a bike for that I'd use a 250cc to save on fuel

These are definitely a girl's bike. Very small. I sat on a buddy's 650 and my elbows were resting on my knees. Lots of thump for a single, though.
