You guys are missing the point. Federal law puts in place security measures in order to get onto an aircraft. You don't have to fly. It's a privilege, not a right. Not to.mention is Administrative search and need no probable cause. You as the traveler subject yourself to screening. If you don't follow security measures you don't fly. The TSA doesn't make you do a thing until after you subject yourself to screening.

@visibilitycoach They're the ones choosing who to pat-down. Most of the pat-downs done in the airport are random and those that aren't or come as a result of an alarm could be resolved with a simple handheld metal detector wand. Of course, the TSA agents are too lazy to wand people anymore.

#1, the TSA clerk LIED to the guy taping. TSA has openly stated that videotaping a TSA pat-down is ALLOWED. This is actually posted on their website. #2, how can you say that the TSA guys were "totally professional" when they were rubbing their hands all over the body of an innocent traveler, and sticking their fingers down his pants? You can be as nice as you want, but there is NOTHING professional about this intrusive grope. It's a blatant violation of our 4th Amendment rights.
Just for the record, the TSA clerk who asked you to stop filming was wrong - filming is allowed, as long as it doesn't interfere with the screening process. This is even stated on the TSA website:
