The song is a techno version of Johann Pachelbel's Canon in D. The original is one of the most beautiful and most performed pieces of music out there. Lovely. But I don't much like this version.
This is an arrangement with some vocals, but the original is performed all over the world by millions of orchestras. it is one of the most popular 'classics'
I have two friesian horses and I couldnt love them more! they are great for everything,I am 15 and I just started my dressage competitions with them and they leave behind such great impressions! They are such a beautiful breed , I love you bent and bento! <3
wow I would love to own one :). when my mum passed away she had a horse drawn Hearse this was in England. The two horses that pulled it where Friesians called Jeff and Charlie. They are known for their wonderful manners. They were bred as a war horse to carry the Knights into battle. The Friesian is considered a willing, active, and energetic horse that is also gentle and docile. Many mistake them for Andalusian's. The horse they used in Zorro was a Friesian. Fantastic wonderful horses :)
@juanD734 hello the original of this song is Johann Pachelbel Canon in D Major , one of my favourites, try the original its far better than this harmonised version.
1 day ago when you are reading thid do not stop or else something bad will happen! (sorry about this) this girl's name is summer, she is 15 years old and has blonde hair, many scars, and she has no ears. she is dead. if you don't copy this to more than 5 videos, she will appear one dark quiet night when you are not expecting it beside your bed with a knife and going to kill you. this is no joke. if you send this on 5 more videos .sorry bum i m fricking scared of it
We are moving in a year, to a place where my dream of owning a horse can finally come true. I was simply researching breeds, training (for me mostly) and horses in general as I will be a beginner when I came across this breed and my jaw dropped. So beautiful and elegant, what an amazing horse!
friesians are my all time favourite breed. they are so beautiful and have such a stunning movement. definately on my "must have one at some point in my life" list. have such a passion for all horses, but i think this breed will always have a special place in my heart
i love fresians and they aare amazing at flat work but arn't the fave for jumping bacause of their 'unstable' sort of body weight so they don't enjoy it much. i love how they canter thanx for postingg !
fresian is my favorite breed...if u seen tournement of kings ur kewl diablo the dragon horse is my favorite my dad wrks there he takes care of all the horses
Hmmm... I'm used to seeing taller Friesians with much heavier feathers. I'm guessing just a difference in grooming for the feathers and perhaps the way the videos are shot makes them look smaller?
I would love a friesian, always been my fave breed but all the friesians in the world wouldn't tempt me away from my broken thoroughbred exracer, sorry but i used to think friesian all i want never a lanky thoroughbed but ever since i got my horse breeding and looks may impress but i don't care no more, yes i am jealous when i see people competing their friesians at dressage which i love and i am sat on the sidelines but honestly i would have it no other way :)
Friesians are not know to excel in jumping; although there are several out there competing very successful in cross country. The breed directives are taking the Friesian into a more sporty model body type and they are beginning to show great progress in Dressage. In the past and still today the Friesian was widely used for Driving. I have some photographs of some Friesians that are beautiful jumpers and are hpapy to share those pictures with you.
@stepinstyle00 yeah that would be great because they honestly beautiful horses and i think with their looks and power and temperment they would exel in jumping but ive been wondering. please send me the link to those pictures.
@stepinstyle00 I used to ride for a club and they had a friesian there who they let me use to jump and it turned out that he was excellent. Not to boast or anything but i won twice on him and i promise you, it is such a comfortable horse! I love them and thank you for the video... well done!
@ScuderiaBull In Europe they go for around 7000-12000 pounds depending on gender, age and training. If you have to import it to North America, look at spending another 6000-8000US for shipping and customs. :) Don't expect to find a "deal" or a cheap Friesian in Europe or the USA. Cheap, good, Friesian's don't exist and you are likely to be scammed or buying a problem/lame horse. (There are sadly many rip offs going around!)
@ScuderiaBull Weaned young horses generally go for less, depending on their breeding they may go from around 3000-5000 pounds. It can vary but that's average. However in order to register them with the FPS in the Netherlands, you will need to show the horse yourself in the future. And obviously it will need to be trained later on in life. :) Sorry if I'm making assumptions on your skills.
@sithvixen , No, no problem.... i have no skills anyway, i don't have in mid any special training or displaying him just for show. The horse (or horses) will be in a beautiful barn on the countryside, with lost a firlds and grass. Their only job will be to cure someones inner problems (in a good way)... Im so sad that there's not a Fresian horse in Croatia at sight, you just cant find one! I don't worry too much about scams, cuz I go everywhere in person, I'm the border! no agents
@ScuderiaBull Rip offs: scammers have popped up here and there offering amazing deals; I.E. a 5 year old fully trained horse for only 5000 dollars or something equally ridiculous. In reality they may not even have the horse and often steal photos off the web from other people. People in their desperation to own one fall for the deception. Either that or the horse is lame/old/not a Friesian. It is very tragic, so be very careful and don't expect to find a "deal". Please google Friesiancrazy
@ScuderiaBull I saw one online the other day - 2yo filly £1800 lightly backed, it all depends on when you buy, buy in winter and you get good prices, in the summer prices go wayyyy higher
@stepinstyle00 The stallion Pegasus is an awesome example of their jumping skill. And, as it were, Pegasus is one of the more old world style stallions with he heavier body. I think with some training any type of Friesian can jump very well, probably because they are naturally more collected than many breeds. :)
Not true. They can be chestnut (rarely though) and also silver (even more rare). They can also be very dark bay. Black is just the main colour because that's how they were bred :)
Well its alot of fun to see people from other country's talking about friesians,
iam from holland in the place Friesland, yes where the horses come from. almost everyone here as a friesian horse or is breeding them, iam one of those breeders, The price of one of these black pearls is different, Its like all horses, when the are higher in the sport the cost more then a friesian who didnt do anything in the sport. Its true that the arent cheap. If someone wanna know more about them, Mail me!
i have two Friesians, both were imported over from Holland. The 17.2hh Gelding is worth £20,000 he is the old fashioned breed and my baby is a 15.2hh and he is only worth £6,500 BUT we are never selling him. I am currently schooling him but is hard as he is not used to our language lol. Both horses seem to love water?is this common in Friesians?they will happily stand in a puddle shove their noses in the water then laugh about it...it is so funny.Or big boy will paw the water and get us soaked.
@stevewars123 Friesians are like all horses. Sometimes they love water sometimes they don't, Some at my stable don't even wanna go in it even if theycan go inside.
This is a question for anybody. I am 13 and I know a lot about horses but I was wondering. . . Do friesians always have to black? Because I always see black ones. Please feel free to talk to me about horses any time. Personal Message me anytime. Just to let you know I have two Horses:
Floozie: 18 year old, ex- barrel race horse, chestnut, mare
Tango: 2 year old, chestnut,colt
I love horses so feel free to tell me about your horses or horse experiences!!!
A Friesian's registered color is always black, but their actual color ranges from a dark brown to jet black due to sun and sweat bleaching. They are allowed a white star on their forehead, but can't have any white anywhere else on their body (for more info see the FHANA website).
@buggiesworld like abldragon said, a lil white star on the forehead is allowed, but if the have more white there not allowed in the offical friesian breeding collection. In the summer the can be a little brown cause the sun.
If it's going to be your first horse, then I suggest a cheaper horse, such as a Thoroughbred or a standardbred. That way, if the horse is cheap, and you accidentally ruin it, it wouldn't have put you out over $20 000.
. i JUST bought a friesian for $4,000. shes 6 years old & my 4th horse. there are some friesians out there for more then 20k, yes. but some are under 10,000. some are even free and up for adoption.
I was just stating that for a really good friesian one that is easy to control and has a good tempremant and is a pureblood with good bloodlines are pretty expensive and $20 000 is about the price, give or take.
And Also, I was basically asking why you would pay that much for a first horse. Your still practically learning about horses when you egt your first one.
My first horse was a thoroughbred, and she taught me a lot.
My best friends sister as an appaloosa mare. She's such a pretty horse.
My thoroughbred cost me $500. Pretty cheap for such a great horse. Actually, not so great any more. She went lame for about three weeks, and then got a bad back and got colic. It was horrible. Ever since then, she went weird. I can't catch her, I can't canter or jump without her trying to buck me off. And we've had her vet checked and everything.
It makes me sad because she was so great before she got sick.
I meant $20 000 is what you would pay for a really good friesian, give or take a few grand. It'll get you a horse with good bloodlines and one which has a good temprement and a great personality.
My first horse was a $500 Thoroughbred and she taught me a lot. I was just wondering why you'd pay so much for a horse like that, when your still practically learning.
Just curious, do you know if Fresians would be good for children? Say a 13 year old, would a young teen be capable to take care of one as easily as a Quarter horse?
I ride at Black Sterling Friesians and I can tell you that, like any horse, each one is an individual and temperments can vary. But that being said, where I ride they have sold the majority of the Friesians they import to young girls and beginner riders and they do great. Plus, we give lessons to young children beginning around age 8. Most are loving, loyal, forgiving and extremely gentle.
Saying a Friesian is a "Sport Horse" is just stating the usability of the horse. Friesians are used for driving, pleasure riding, and becoming quite popular in Dressage.
Friesians are the s**t! I sat on one bareback last week, what a calm and friendly stallion! We were drinking, and I didn't know the horse so, I didn't ride him. I'm sure he is a great ride. Funny horse, he was trying to steal my beer the whole time. However, I still love my mixed horse (looks like a mustang). He is so smart, willing to work for me, and a good friend. (By the way, don't ride with a saddle, its a good way to learn how not to ride:)
it is a great breed....very loyal but sometimes a little to proud XD..in the nederlands are a lot of beautiful friesians....but mine is stil the best!!..LOVE HORSES!!
Thanks for your support! Looking forward to it. I love ALL breeds! But the Friesian horse is so gentle, willing to please and majestic that they will absolutely take your breathe away & steal your heart! I love the American Saddlebred as well. They are an absolute thrill to ride!
All Friesians shown on this video are FPS Registered Friesians, all imported from The Netherlands. Trainer, Arnold Warmels, is a Dutch trainer who prepares these horses for Carriage Driving, Combined Driving, Show Driving, Dressage, and Saddleseat.

i have two Friesians, both were imported over from Holland.

They are always black unless you breed them with a non friesian or a mix friesian
becca197234 2 years ago
This is a question for anybody. I am 13 and I know a lot about horses but I was wondering. . . Do friesians always have to black? Because I always see black ones. Please feel free to talk to me about horses any time. Personal Message me anytime. Just to let you know I have two Horses:
Floozie: 18 year old, ex- barrel race horse, chestnut, mare
Tango: 2 year old, chestnut,colt
I love horses so feel free to tell me about your horses or horse experiences!!!

Yes, friesians are always black! without any white on their bodies...
Schnien05 2 years ago
A Friesian's registered color is always black, but their actual color ranges from a dark brown to jet black due to sun and sweat bleaching. They are allowed a white star on their forehead, but can't have any white anywhere else on their body (for more info see the FHANA website).
abldragon 2 years ago
@buggiesworld like abldragon said, a lil white star on the forehead is allowed, but if the have more white there not allowed in the offical friesian breeding collection. In the summer the can be a little brown cause the sun.

Are you aware how much a friesan costs?
If it's going to be your first horse, then I suggest a cheaper horse, such as a Thoroughbred or a standardbred. That way, if the horse is cheap, and you accidentally ruin it, it wouldn't have put you out over $20 000.
KayluhRitter 2 years ago
. i JUST bought a friesian for $4,000. shes 6 years old & my 4th horse. there are some friesians out there for more then 20k, yes. but some are under 10,000. some are even free and up for adoption.
RisingVelocity 2 years ago
I know.
Haha.
KayluhRitter 2 years ago
Oh haha okay :)
My horse was 4500 because the owners medical bills were too expensive & she didnt have enough money .. so she was forced to sell him:/
yea my first horse was an appaloosa gelding. taught me everything i know :)
RisingVelocity 2 years ago
My best friends sister as an appaloosa mare. She's such a pretty horse.
My thoroughbred cost me $500. Pretty cheap for such a great horse. Actually, not so great any more. She went lame for about three weeks, and then got a bad back and got colic. It was horrible. Ever since then, she went weird. I can't catch her, I can't canter or jump without her trying to buck me off. And we've had her vet checked and everything.
It makes me sad because she was so great before she got sick.
=(

yeah i know ....................... plus were got anouther 1 anyway
p.s. they dont all have to b so much like what RisingVelocity is saying
WesternChick101 2 years ago
I meant $20 000 is what you would pay for a really good friesian, give or take a few grand. It'll get you a horse with good bloodlines and one which has a good temprement and a great personality.
My first horse was a $500 Thoroughbred and she taught me a lot. I was just wondering why you'd pay so much for a horse like that, when your still practically learning.
Haha.

evaspirit 2 years ago
Wow.
Just curious, do you know if Fresians would be good for children? Say a 13 year old, would a young teen be capable to take care of one as easily as a Quarter horse?
JVIapleLeaf 2 years ago
I ride at Black Sterling Friesians and I can tell you that, like any horse, each one is an individual and temperments can vary. But that being said, where I ride they have sold the majority of the Friesians they import to young girls and beginner riders and they do great. Plus, we give lessons to young children beginning around age 8. Most are loving, loyal, forgiving and extremely gentle.
soappoisoning 2 years ago
Depending on how old and how much training the horse has had.
And, depending on how much you're willing to pay for one.

Thanks for your support! Looking forward to it. I love ALL breeds! But the Friesian horse is so gentle, willing to please and majestic that they will absolutely take your breathe away & steal your heart! I love the American Saddlebred as well. They are an absolute thrill to ride!
