Yes after much testing KDE is better if you preffer running an unstable environment that crashes a lot. Why not go back to MS? But that is just after we tested scripts that got implemented into the OS that is.
hu, for the kde / gnome arguers in here : I Am running gnome up there, KDE/Kubuntu is installed, but the PS3 got choppy when running kde, hence it runs gnome, hence the kubuntu bootup screen
That was the reason I picked KDE in the first place. Now, I have two gnome panels with a vista look on the top, but I have a OSX like dock on the bottom and OSX like icons.
Dude KED is the best! It looks way more slick and nice, better than Ubuntu... Not that I don't like Ubuntu but Kubuntu with the KED desktop theme is much nicer in my veiw.
lmao just get yellow dog, its the most optimized, the rsx is locked so it doesnt matter what other os you install , it just which ever uses less ramm assets will run quicker.
MAN if u can just put 1GB RAM on PS3 pshhhheeeew fuckin jetplane

Hmm... is this 32bit or 64bit? If it's 64 bit you could install Dolphin Gamecube/Wii emulator and run wii games using a wiimote.

When I used Kubuntu, It crashed to a point where I couldn't boot Kubuntu, But I was still able to recover my Data.
