something just occurred to me: why is it that there's always so much controversy over M-rated games? people always say that mature games will corrupt youth and turn them into gun wielding psychopaths? i can understand how it might influence someone in the wrong way, but i have one simple question that no parents or guardians or anyone seems to be able to answer: if you don't want your kids playing violent games, then why don't you just say that they can't?
It also makes you wonder about this. M rating = 17 or 18+ so thats not corrupting 'youth'. Since you are technically an adult / early adult and even if your parents are buying the game for you, why are they even complaining.

No, it's called education and we learn what's good and bad about them. Which country has a higher % of drug-addicted people? And what about the % of teen girls being a mom?

In the Netherlands it's not officially legal, but it's tolerated. While in America the media/DEA and stuff say it can kill you. I've seen those commercials about "marijuana kills".
