Xbox 360 on laptop table tennis

hey i want to connect my 360 to my Laptop so that i can use my laptop monitor as a screen, i bought a wire that connects VGA to AV but i dont know what to do after that to (change imputs)...

I Pressed The FN and CRT.LCD On My Dell Inspiron 1501 but it was only black...

yup thats what i ended up doing, i borrowed my next door neighbours screen

i bought the vga cable, hooked it up to my laptop did the lcd switch button and it didn't work? any suggestions

Like I said it doesn't work on all laptops. Your laptop most likely only outputs, so may not work. But you can always use it to link the xbox to a pc monitor.

do you have to press anything on your laptop to make your screen switch, like on my dell I have a CRT/LCD button. I had the cable but I took it back before I knew I had that button.

You can do this with a xbox 360 to vga cable. I got my one for about £5 off Ebay.
