If you want an atheistic religion you could try Buddhism or Taoism. But they do not make a fetish out of no-god or science - but there again neither do atheists. Secularism, human rights science are central values. Buddists deffo believe in supernatural things while most "new" atheists are skeptical of supistitions. Philosophical Buddhism can be attractive to skeptical athiests and a number of prominant Buddhists (Dalai Lama) have spoken about alining it to science and not the other way round.
If we are not finally destroyed as a race by religion (probably Islam) it will be the greedy supremacists or Robots....Guess we should try and enjoy what we have now.

I'm an atheist who has a relationship with God. He knows the best of me, cares for me, is always there when I need his help and guidance, he is human like in form. God is the replacement figure for both of my parents who were my gods, without me knowing it, prior to puberty. Puberty forces us to disregard our parents to some degree in order for civilization to evolve. At puberty, we lose the two key types of love, conditional and un conditional, and God combines both beautifully!

If you want an atheistic religion you could try Buddhism or Taoism. But they do not make a fetish out of no-god or science - but there again neither do atheists. Secularism, human rights science are central values. Buddists deffo believe in supernatural things while most "new" atheists are skeptical of supistitions. Philosophical Buddhism can be attractive to skeptical athiests and a number of prominant Buddhists (Dalai Lama) have spoken about alining it to science and not the other way round.

God is the replacement figure for both of my parents who were my gods, without me knowing it, prior to puberty. Religion is an ideology based on faith instead of proof.
Believing in something does not make it real. Non believing on something does not make it unreal.
If God exist, not believing on it will not make it cease to exist. And if God does not exist, believing in it will not make it exist.
Thus unless someone has proof of either, the real non religion (aka faith) based assertment that one can make is:
"I do not know."

@Elricck The golden rule is a great concept. As atheists we can adopt morals, standards, and ethics from any source including the Bible. The Buddhists have some pretty good world-views and morals. Christians should read their holy books.

The Christians do not have a monopoly on morality, the test of Christian morals has failed the test of over 2000 years. First slavery was authorized and now it isn't; the Christian morals are subjective. Look to your clergy and tell me atheists are immoral? Clean up your own house before pointing fingers!

There are lots of theists who are scientists . Catholics, for example believe in evolution and the big bang theory etc I suspect if there is a God she probably has a lot of respect for atheists especially if they care about people. Um, there are plenty of atheists who did believe in God at one point. Just look up TheraminTrees and QualiaSoup, they're brothers, and they were raised as Christians. Now they're both atheists.
