I could never really understand why this song featured in the lost boys soundtrack apart from link it to the girl in the film, watching the video now sheds a different meaning and one I'm not sure I follow. Good film and some good tracks.

@Sage80 I'm pretty sure it's in G minor. Try playing a G minor bar chord over most of the song and you'll see it nearly always fits, or better still, try soloing over the top of it using a G minor pentatonic - it sounds sweet.

Nope, I have looked everywhere. Their only release as Mummy Calls is a self titled LP in 1986, and has not been re-issued. Shame.

David Banks has a great voice. His next project after mummy Calls, Unicorn Jones, is available on i-tunes. Enjoy :-)

Yes, they put out an album which also had this track. I have not been able to find it on cd, but I did manage to get a copy of it on vinyl from eBay. I had it on cassette and loved EVERY song, which is very rare for me. I loaned it to a friend and never got it back...
