@Transane You do know that bokeh has absolutely nothing to do with the camera body but all to do with the lens. Right?... Bokeh is the visual properties of a really shallow depth of field seen through a good lens. Any camera body can pick that up, but not every lens has those image qualities.

So you lens made a suicide drop for being put on the Nikon body... just saying..not hating, just stating the obvious..your sweet lens would rather die than being married to Nikon..and I understand why..

Nikon makes many lenses with beautiful bokeh... obviously theres the primes (50 and 35 1.8, ignoring the other beautiful primes of 1.4 and faster) and many great zooms such as the 17-55 f/2.8. Then of course, theres the man lenses built with nikon mounts, but those should be ignored as they most always have an equivalent version for canon and other body mounts.

Looks like the Tokina might have ecaped relatively unscathed though not sure if there's a scratch on the front element.

Got the same lens and always carry mine with the lens hood and a UV filter for that reason
