2,600 for one bedroom? I don't know if 6,000 is the average salary for most people, but that's less than 50%. anything less than 40% should be acceptable. The average rent to salary ratio in NYC is like 40%.
come on now. Most people including young adults work at least 5 and a half day in HK. And also please compare HK to other countries instead of the past. HK considers to be one of the most hard working cities in the world. The problem right now is the wages simply not enough to buy a house.
