Same with alternative. Alternative allows the artist to do a song similar to a genre, but alter it and make it slightly different to 'rock' or 'dance' etc.

Just trying to follow what you said. I love jamiroquai but I have to say that harris' remake of this is song is pretty impressive despite all the electronic sound. I am a bigger fan of Jamiroquai's later stuff more that early-mid 90s.
