  • What happens when a jellyfish dies? Will it get eaten buy the others? If not, how do you get rid of the body?

  • for the cheapest set up it costs at least $450 including 3 jellyfish, but more like $500 for the cheapest. what a rip off especially if you have to buy new jellies every year for 40 a piece. you guys need a better marketing strategy. if it were cheaper youd prolly sell 10 times as many. wake up

  • @maximfhm11 Fish-keeping is an expensive endeavor, easily 1K-3K for a nice saltwater tank. Jellyfish are fragile creatures, prior to this guy's advancements they couldn't be kept alive at all by the average hobbyist, and you expect to be able to have them for the cost of guppies? Dream on. If you can't afford it then move on, this is not the hobby for you. $500 is dirt cheap compared to what it used to be! I'm elated to find this, been looking for a practical way to keep jellyfish for years.

  • I MUST GET THIS WHEN I MOVE INTO MY OWN PLACE! except i want one with light

  • Any idea what the song / artist names are?

  • Poor guys. :(

  • @jellyfishartdotcom: can I use a sand stubstrate? And I seen you guys can custom make aquariums, could you guys make on with a dual light running through the center. The secondary light would be a black light. But with is own switch bc it's only intended for night viewing.

  • @bula887dre Using a sand substrate would not allow for the proper water flow. Yes, we can make a tank with dual lighting running through the center.

  • Will a different fish tank work if I buy the jelly fish starter pack on your website? I can't afford the 8 gallon starter tank and I'm trying to get the jellyfish for Christmas but was wondering if they would live in a different tank. Comment back ASAP!!

  • @MrYakey123 No, another fish tank will not work.

  • i no it sounds stupid but can u put this in a coldwater /tropical tank

  • @SirNiblet99 Hello,

Moon jellyfish need tanks that are the temperature of their natural environment. We get our Moon jellies from warm waters so they would not do well in cold water conditions.

  • @JellyfishArtDotCom what about salt

  • @SirNiblet99 Salt can be bought from our website. Go to "Accessories" then "Dry Accessories"

  • How do you feed them in that big of an tank?

  • @Magostop You can use a feeding pipette, which enables you to directly feed the jellyfish underneath their bell-shaped bodies.

  • Wish I could afford this tank. How neat to have and soothing to watch.

  • Wow, I wish it was possible that you guys could ship to Norway.

    And what's that song called?

  • @kathyfr3 We can ship to Norway. It is just a little more expensive than shipping within the United States. You can find details on our website, JellyfishArt [dot] com. We had the song custom made for the video.

  • What is the average lifespan of the moon jellyfish?

  • @1mp4c7 They can live several years in captivity but average lifespan is about one year.

  • Man I wish I knew about this site a couple months ago =/

  • I bet you could put sea nettles in there.

  • @ColdBloodNateDawg Unfortunately sea nettles do not work in the Monaco because the water flow is not strong enough to keep them suspended in the middle of the tank.

  • @JellyfishArtDotCom Ohhh. Okay.. I always wondered why that was.

  • good work
