That's a Korean cult. Kuk Sool Won does not appear in any historical record of Japan, China, the West, or even Korea. It's just a fabricated tradition.
listen...nick is my instructor. the kick is done as part of a demo...to impress. both u guys are arguing for no apparent reason as you are both impressed by the kick. ergo...he's done his job!
Very cool, and it would work in real life---just not as an opener ;>) EVERY martial arts attack can have its use, don't throw away anything, real life fighting you need a lot of tools, infinite tools really. Go read Bruce Lee's philosophies. Kuk Sool!
Are you making an argument out of nothing because you feel you need to compensate for having a small penis?
I did not question the excellence of the kick, only its practical application, I have roughly 6 years martial arts experience and kicks like this are almost always for the purposes of Kata, or enhancement of spatial awareness and hold little practical value. The answer to your question therefore, is no.
So, IOW...you can't do it? Poor Baby. He has the physical skill to control his body to perform a kick like that, THAT'S POINT. Don't hate the playa, hate the game that you can't play.
People in korea like Kuk Ki won do that every day put with a apple on a sharp katana

the kicks are unusable in a real fight did you say? wot? do you fight like a baby or something?
mihajlovicwannabe 5 years ago
Why do people make such a big deal about "practical application".
Not everything in martial arts is for fighting.

Very, very nice kick. Clearly loads of control and spatial awareness, but is there a practical application to this kick?

Are you questioning it because you can't perform it?

I looked at this many times and I saw the board land unbroken. Still a very cool technique exhibiting great skill and control.
