He's become the top playmaker on the squad and he cant be blamed for argentina's bad defending. Obviously he doesnt score as much, but he definitely sets up the plays, and you still see him do some of his runs,but he usually looks for a teammate at the end of them. Its not like ronaldo does as much on portugal? and messi has killed english league squads in the C.L. like MAN.U,etc.

The reason i think ronaldo is better than messi is because the average distance from goal between the two players in which they have scored, and i quote from sky sports ronaldos is 17 yards and messi's is 9 yards. Messi has many world class players around him who basically give him an open goal to shoot into. Ronaldo does more work
