If they started on May 25, and it's June 20 now, perhaps they've gone JUST A TAD over the two weeks that they gave as the time to pick the first verse.

I'm not sure I blame them, though. First, there were over 1500 entries to sort through. Second, the voting format wasn't anything even resembling fair, so they probably had to chuck the votes and look it all over themselves. Third, I suspect that Kina has other things to do also like--oh, I don't know--play music and earn a living, maybe. :)

@mellomelinya truly valid point. Any serious lyricist/poet will have words that only work in the context of their own piece. This piecemeal approach will generate a song that is a patchwork, potentially gibberish. Would have been better to open the contest to a total lyric submission of a whole song..

We all know that this co-write voting is completely stacked - The most popular people are the ones that actually have subscribers, whereas everyone who doesn't have a following will end up drowning in the tide of vote-downs from rabid fans of those same popular artists. There are some good lyricists amongst the people who contributed who don't deserve to be down in the voting count. Anyhow, I hope Kina herself will pick someone who deserves to actually win-than just by this bs popularity vote.
