I remember I was sooo disappointed when she was voted off after this performance. She was fantastic. Alexis in season 8 and Pia Tuscano this year are two people who prove that America has no idea what talent truly is!

My personal opinion is that a song can be taken into almost any genre of music and sound good. It all depends on the artist and how they perform it.

With this version of Jolene, I absolutely love her voice with this song, and the way she performs it is a nice different version. The only thing I would have to critique on is the twist with her voice on the first few lyrics. Other than that, she was pretty good. ^^

Dolly is the best, but it doesn't mean others can't try on the song, guys.

@brandonch25 She ripped off a past hit hoping to gain points. Unfortunately she can't sing as well as the original artist (or the guy from White Stripes for that matter) and consequently didn't win. Song choice is only half the battle, being able to sing it well is what wins it.
